Ext – Road – Morning

(1st scene)

(Perspective of stranger/killer)
(Holly walking down the road)(stranger in a black jacket slowly walks up behind Holly hiding a
knife)(stranger wrestles Holly then stabs her in the neck)
(Holly falls down facing up)(stranger about to stab Holly on the neck again)

Int – Rob’s House, Living Room – Early Noon

(2nd scene)

(Rob violently wakes up from his dream)

Rob: (wakes up abruptly)(shortness of breath and gasping) Wha… What was that.?

Andre: (Just arrived at Rob’s house)(heavy breathing) Hey man! What’s up with you? Looks like
you’ve seen a ghost!

Rob: (calms down)(shocked) I-It’s nothing!

Andre: (confused) Uh, you sure?

Rob: (relaxed)(anxious) Y-Yeah yeah, I’m sure

Andre: Alright~? Then go get your stuff, the others are almost here, we need to get ready for
the upcoming exams next week.

Rob: Alright alright I’m on it

(A little while later, three friends arrive at Rob’s house)(They start studying together for a
while, during that time, Rob was still thinking about that dream he had a while ago)(hours later
in the afternoon, everyone packed their things and is preparing to leave)

(Turn-taking)

Charlie: (tired) Whew, that was a LOT of info to take in. Hope we get a passing mark, everyone!
Nelly: (confident) Yeah, I agree, we’ve been studying for a while now, so I’m sure we’ll get a
perfect pass!

Andre: Even if we missed some things, we always got Henderson to remind us, we’re lucky we
have the smart kid on our team!

Henderson: (surprised) Hey! Even if I’m smart doesn’t mean I’m the best!

Nelly: Yeah, he’s right, we gotta try our best on our own, we can’t learn anything if we put
ourselves to the test. Ain’t that right Rob?

Rob: (spaced out) Wha- O-Oh yeah yeah.. what were we talking about?

Nelly: Dude, what’s up with you? You’ve hardly ever spoke during our study, anything wrong?

Rob: (sighs) It’s.. nothing.. we can talk about it tomorrow, right now, all of us needs a break.

(Termination)

Andre: Agreed. Alright, it’s settled then, everyone, let’s meet up again tomorrow, same time,
same place. If there’s no further objections, then we all agree.

Everyone: (nods in agreement)

(Everyone left)(Rob is left alone in the living room, exhuasted)

Rob: (laying on couch/furniture) God.. I’m exhausted.. I need to take another nap..

(After a short while, Rob falls asleep)

Ext – Road – Morning

(3rd scene)

(Rob finds himself standing on the roadside)(he looks around and sees the same victim from
his previous dream, on the ground, dead)(Rob panics as he looks around to see if anybody is
around)(Rob rushes to the victim to his knees in a panic)

Rob: (panicked breathing) Holly? Holly!? Are you still there?! Holly!!
(As Rob continues to try and wake up the victim, he notices a figure in a black jacket behind
him)(Rob turns around in fear)

Rob: (completely terrified) Wh-Who are you?! T-Tell me!!

(Rob notices a bloody knife in the stranger’s hand)

Rob: (terrified) Y-You’re the killer!? S-Step back! I-I’m warning you!

(As Rob says these words, the stranger walks to him)(Rob, too afraid to move, can only watch
the stranger walk up to him)
(When the stranger was standing before Rob, he woke up)

Rob: (terrified)(shocked)(gasping) What, was that?!

(Rob took his time thinking about what happened just now)

Rob: (seemingly tired) I.. need something to drink..

(Rob notices a water bottle on a table)(Rob takes the bottle and drinks some water)

Rob: (heavy breathing) What happened just then? I’m sure that those two people were the
same people I saw in that other dream I had a while ago.. Surely.. no.. something’s wrong.. I
can feel it..

(Rob then takes another drink of water)

Rob: Ah, I’ll think about this tomorrow.. Right now I need to freshen up..

Int – Rob’s house – Early Noon

(4th Scene)
(The next day, everyone was there, doing small talk to each other, until Friend 1 broke the ice)

(Nomination)
Charlie: Yo guys, did you hear the local news a while ago?

Nelly: Oh? What is it? Did something happen?

Henderson: (slightly irritated) Just tell us already.

Charlie: alright fine.

Charlie: (lowers his voice) someone got killed near the outskirts of our province!

(Everyone was shocked about the news, specially Andre and Rob)

(Repair)

Henderson: (shocked) what?! You’re not serious are you? Are you sure that’s what you saw in
the news?

Charlie: (serious) I’m not! It was Holly, she got stabbed in the neck twice, the last hit was
probably the one that killed her. There was also another part of the news, but that doesn’t
matter.

Rob: (In absolute shock) No way… it.. can’t be..

Nelly: (surprised) What is it Rob? Is something the matter?

Rob: (at a loss) Holly… She was the one I saw yesterday in my dream..

Henderson: (shocked) Dream? What dream?

Rob: (takes a deep breath) before Andre arrived yesterday, I had a dream where I saw Holly get
killed. Then when you guys left, I had another dream where I saw the killer, he was walking up
to me, and then when he was right in front of me, I had woken up.

Andre: (speechless) Did.. you happen to know who the killer in your dream was?

Rob: I.. don’t know.. I couldn’t make out his face.. That’s why.. I wanted you all to gather here,
again.
Charlie: (curious) So.. what are we gonna do?

Rob: I was originally planning to tell you all what I saw in my dreams, now that it came true.. I
want to find out who the killer is. But I’ll need everyone’s help for this.

Nelly: I.. alright, we’ll help you, isn’t that right, everyone?

Andre (slightly hesitant) Y-Yeah, we’ll help you in your investigation.

(Topic Shifting)

Henderson: (scared) Hey uh, guys? I know a lot of things are very deep right now, but I gotta go
home now, I wanna keep studying for the exams.

Charlie: Oh come on, don’t tell me you’re bailing out, come on! This is something that hardly
ever happens here!

Henderson: Sorry guys, but I really gotta go..

Charlie: (Irritated) Nah, you’re staying and you are gonna help us, got it?

Henderson: (scared) O-Okay, understood..

Nelly: Come on you two, stop fighting, now is not the time. We’ve got bigger things to do. So
Rob, what’s the plan?

(Restriction)

Rob: (serious) Hmm.. let’s start by talking to some people who were close to Holly, maybe we’ll
have a clue. Right, when we’re asking questions, nobody ever mention the dreams I had, only
tell surface level information, got it?

Everyone: (nods in agreement)

Ext – Backyard – Noon

(5th Scene)
(Everyone gathers around Mr. Jonathan)

Rob: Good afternoon Mr. Jonathan,we were planning to ask you if you’ve seen anything before
Holly’s death?

Jonathan: Ah, I see, so you’re also investigating his/her death. I’m afraid not, I didn’t see nor
notice anything.

Nelly: Well, thank you for cooperation sir, we’ll try our best to help the police by doing our own
investigation.

Jonathan: Well, good luck with that, now move along now, there’s still more things I need to
do.

Rob: Okay, thank you once again for your help.

Ext – Frontyard – Noon

(6th Scene)

(The group goes to the 2nd Witness to ask questions)

Rob: Excuse me, sir? Do you happen to know about anything regarding Holly’s death? It’s
because that you live close to the crime scene, that’s why we decided to ask you, if you happen
to know something we greatly appreciate it if you’d tell us.

Sir Luke: Oh? And why’s that?

Charlie: It’s because my friend Rob had a dre- A close relationship with Holly! Yeah, that’s it!

Sir Luke: Ah, I can’t blame you for that.. well, all I heard were footsteps running from the
opposite direction in where Holly was found dead.

Henderson: Even if it’s that all you heard, it’s still very promising, thank you for telling us.

Sir Luke: You’re welcome, oh, you should go look for Hanya, maybe she might know something.
Andre: (hesitant) Y-Yeah, we will, thanks for the tip.

Ext – Road – Noon

(7th Scene)

(When the group was heading to Hanya’s house, when they suddenly crossed paths with
Hanya)

Rob: Oh, Hanya! We were just looking for you.

Hanya: (curious) Oh? How may I be of service, then?

Nelly: We were wondering if you saw anything strange during (Victim’s name) murder. If you
know anything, we would be happy if you would tell us.

Hanya: (thinking) Hmm.. Well, I did saw someone in a black jacket, running away from
something, I didn’t know what he was running away from, but I’m sure he was the one who
killed (Victim’s name).

Charlie: (excited) Finally, a lead! What you said just now is a great help!

Rob: (satisfied) Yeah, thanks a lot Hanya, you’ve been a great help.

Hanya: No worries, I was just doing my best to help, now if there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving
now.

Henderson: (in a hurry) Thanks again Ms. Hanya!

Int – Rob’s House, Living Room – Afternoon

(8th Scene)

(Topic Control)

Rob: Alright everyone, we’ve got some leads and clues on who the killer might be, let’s discuss
on what we know so far.

(Everyone gathers around and discusses what they’ve discovered so far)

(Montage about discussion)

(It was already 4:00 PM and everyone is tired)(Rob stands up)

Rob: (sweaty) Okay everyone, now that we’ve discussed what we know so far, our main goal is
to find out who the guy in the black jacket was. For now, we should take a break, tomorrow’s a
new day, and our investigation still goes on.

Henderson: (complaining) I really think we should be spending our time studying, shouldn’t we
let the police do this on their own?

Charlie: (excited) Are you kidding? We’re this close to cracking this case open, don’t bail out on
us now!

Rob: That’s enough you two, we can continue this discussion tomorrow, for now, rest is a must.

Everyone: Got it.

Andre: (in slight pain) Sorry, but can I use the bathroom before I go?

Rob: Sure, it’s in the other room.

Andre: (smiles lightly) Thanks. (Leaves the room)

(Everyone leaves the house, leaving Rob alone in the living room)(Due to the tiring day, he sits
down on the couch/furniture)

Rob: Ah.. what an eventful day, I can’t believe we already have a huge lead on the first day.. but
(yawn) I’m tired… another.. nap won’t hurt..

Ext – Road – Morning

(9th Scene)

(Rob looks around again, only to find a figure)(Rob couldn’t recognize his face cause its blurry)

Rob: (shocked) Who are you!? What are you doing here!?
(The figure doesn’t speak, instead he points straight at Rob’s hand)(Rob looks at himself, only
to find that he’s holding a bloody knife, the same one used to kill Holly)(He also noticed that he
was wearing a black jacket, similar to the one he saw in his second dream)

Rob: (speechless)(terrified) Wha.. no.. this.. this can’t be! I didn’t do it! I didn’t kill her!!

(Suddenly, Rob saw the figure’s face clearly, it was Andre)(Andre was right in front of Rob)

(Suddenly, Rob wakes up from his nap)

Int – Rob’s House, Living Room – Afternoon

(10th scene)

Rob: (gasping for air)(in shock) No.. it couldn’t be Andre, right? It couldn’t be me either…

(Rob said as stood up was pacing back and forth, thinking)

Andre: It wasn’t you.

(Rob was surprised)(Rob turned around and before he knew it, he was stabbed in the stomach
by Andre)(Andre pulls the knife back)(Andre pushes Rob to the ground)(Rob tries to cover his
wound)

Rob: (in pain)(scared) Andre.. so it was you..

Andre: (cold)(emotionless)(Irritated) You had to stick your nose in other people’s business.

Rob: (in pain)(scared)(Irritated) Why.. why did you do it?! Why did you kill Holly?!

Andre: (cold) Oh, her? She saw something that was never meant to be seen.

Rob: Wh-What.. is it..? What did she see?!

Andre: She saw my work.. That gave me enough reason to kill her.
Rob: What.. is it?!

Andre: You’ve always wondered why I manage to stay afloat, even though I don’t have a job
and I don’t have anyone with me, I had to make a living.. by selling drugs.

Rob: (shocked) So…

Andre: (slowly getting angrier) she saw my work, I tried to threaten her by saying if she ever
tells the cops, she’d die, which gave her a chance to live, but no. she had to make a run for it,
and look what happened! It costed with her life. And now that you know that now, I might as
well do the same to you.

(Andre points the knife on Rob’s chin)

Rob: (scared)(terrified)(in pain) Please.. you don’t have to do this..

Andre: Sorry, but I don’t take exceptions.

(Andre stabs Rob in his chest, killing him)
