medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the duet.
She competed in the women's duet event at the
2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.[2]
She also represented Great Britain at the 2017
World Aquatics Championships in Budapest,
Hungary and at the 2019 World Aquatics
Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. She
also competed at the 2022 World Aquatics
Championships in Budapest, Hungary. She trains
at the City of Bristol Swimming Club.[3]

At the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in 2024 Doha Duet technical routine
Doha, Thorpe and Shortman won the silver medal 2024 Doha Duet free routine
in the Duet technical routine competition, European Championships
becoming the first Britons to do so.[6] The pair 2024 Belgrade Duet technical routine
followed this up with bronze in the Duet free
2024 Belgrade Duet free routine
routine competition.[7] This ensured the duo's
European Games
qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics[8] where
2023 Kraków-Małopolska Duet free routine
they won a silver medal.[9][10][11] This was the first ever medal for Great Britain in artistic swimming at
the Olympics.[9]
