Abstract
This report provides an overview of the AI-ML Virtual Internship undertaken from July to
September 2024. It details the learning experience, projects completed, challenges faced,
and skills gained in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Introduction
The AI-ML Virtual Internship aimed to enhance knowledge in artificial intelligence and
machine learning. The program covered various aspects such as data preprocessing, model
training, and evaluation, providing hands-on experience through projects and assignments.
Organization Profile
This internship was supported by AICTE, EduSkills, and Google for Developers. AICTE
focuses on technical education in India, EduSkills provides industry-based learning, and
Google for Developers promotes skill development in AI and ML.
Internship Tasks & Responsibilities
During the 10-week internship, various tasks were completed, including:
- Learning AI-ML fundamentals
- Implementing supervised and unsupervised models
- Working on real-world datasets
- Completing assignments and projects
Technical Skills Learned
Throughout the internship, I acquired skills in:
- Data preprocessing and visualization
- Building machine learning models
- Model evaluation and optimization
- Python programming for AI-ML applications
Challenges Faced & Solutions
Some challenges faced during the internship included understanding complex algorithms,
debugging model errors, and optimizing accuracy. These were overcome through
mentorship, research, and practical implementation.
Conclusion & Future Scope
This internship provided a strong foundation in AI and ML. It enhanced my understanding
of real-world applications and improved problem-solving skills. I plan to further explore
deep learning and AI applications in various domains.
