Globalization is a worldwide phenomenon whose occurrence can have an impact

on the future. In this era, the media has influenced and fulfilled people's lives. In this day

and age, the media has influenced and fulfilled people's lives, with mass media having a

big impact on people, resulting in mass communication, which we nowadays refer to as

social media. Social media has been around for a while and has played a significant

role in how humans communicate over the years as it has evolved and improved. It has

been one of contemporary technology's most significant contributions. Given that it is

also a part of globalization, social media has been a big upgrade for today's current

period. But, does globalization need the use of media for global integration?

As millions of people simultaneously experience the same media forms, goods,

channels, and spectacles, the globalization of media flows implies the globalization of

media effects (Zhao & Hackett, 2005). Social media's globalization has opened up

possibilities for people all around the world. Businesses are incorporating the effects of

social media & globalization into their media marketing as accessibility becomes much

more available. Throughout various social media platforms, significant global campaigns

have influenced the concepts of interconnection and transparency. It concerns the

widespread dissemination of ideologies within and outside of the world. It is also

possible to advance any labor and merchandise to any remote place using

technological media. Unlike newspapers and periodicals, the internet is not restricted to

a specific region or country. You can access the site from anywhere as long as you

have access to the internet. Economic growth is made better through globalization. The

concept of social networking—that the world is gradually becoming more globalized—

has been strengthened by the creation of new media, such as Facebook, YouTube, and
Twitter, which make promoting and advertising businesses, as well as exchanging

goods, services, and ideas, much easier. It is about the vast spread of thoughts and

methods of thinking in and around the world. Globalization facilitates labor in the global

economy.

Finally, through worldwide newscasts, music, tv programs, technological

advances, and cinema, the media are already recognized as having a critical role in

increasing globalization and promoting cultural interaction and numerous streams of

information and ideas across nations.
