Young journalists join 2024 District PressCon
Palayan City held its District Press Conference for 2024 at the Palayan City Central School on November 28, 2024. The event was
attended by young journalists, along with their teachers and coaches from various schools in the district. The conference was organized
by Ma'am Bote, along with Ma'am Milagros Mariano, the District Filipino Coordinator, and Ma'am Eden Alcantara, the District English
Coordinator. Speakers and judges for the event were selected from different districts in Nueva Ecija.
The contest categories included News Writing, Editorial Writing, Science Writing, Editorial Cartooning, Column Writing, Feature
Writing, Photojournalism, Copy Reading and Headline Writing, Collaborative Desktop Publishing, and Radio Broadcasting in both English
and Filipino. The top five winners will compete in the Congressional District Press Conference.
