Adventure Time Season 1 Episode Guide
First Season
1. Slumber Party Panic (USA) - Panic at the Palace Party (Latin America)
After Princess Bubblegum's experiment to revive the dead Candy People ends badly, because
when she turns them into zombies they want to eat candy (the Candy People's skin), now Finn is
assigned to protect the town, until she finds a cure, without telling anyone because it's "A Royal
Promise".
Finn and Jake discover that the Ice King has recently been kidnapping princesses for marriage and
imprisoning them and the princesses, but now they must free the princesses and themselves.
Tree Trunks joins Finn and Jake on an adventure through Mirkwood to find the legendary Crystal
Gem Apple that Tree Trunks wants, but Finn is often delayed by Tree Trunks, believing that it is not
dangerous to go through there.
To test their skills as adventurers, Finn and Jake undertake a mission proposed by Princess
Bubblegum to recover the Enchiridion, a legendary book, but they must go through many trials to
get it.
7. Ricardio The Heart Guy (USA) - Ricardio the Lionheart (Latin America)
Princess Bubblegum invites Finn and Jake to a party for rescuing her from the Ice King, but when
the two arrive at the party they see Ricardio, a heart-shaped character giving massages. Finn
begins to suspect that Ricardio wants to hurt Princess Bubblegum, however, the princess only
thinks he is jealous.
When Finn and Jake unfreeze some Businessmen from the ice, they ask them to make the
Obstacle Course that Finn and Jake were making. They are later hired for their own adventure
company, but they become victims of their own laziness when they begin to neglect their
responsibilities as adventurers.
9. My Two Favorite People (USA) - My Two Favorite People (Latin America and Spain)
Jake tries to be with Finn and his girlfriend Rainbow at the same time so that he can spend more
time with the two of them and Jake and so that Finn can get to know Rainbow more, but he ends
up getting jealous of the time they spend together.
10. Memories of Boom Boom Mountain (USA) - Memories on the Mountain (Latin America)
Finn tries to reconfirm his desire to help people when he is faced with one problem after another
stemming from a mountain that hates violence.
When Finn and Jake arrive at a place where they give away magical powers, Finn discovers that
they were actually using them to prevent a meteorite from destroying the place.
Marceline kicks Finn and Jake out of her house, saying it belongs to her, forcing them to either find
a new house or confront her in order to get their big, old home back.
13. City of Thieves (USA) - The City of Thieves (Latin America and Spain)
Finn and Jake, hoping to help Penny, a girl who had a basket of flowers stolen, enter a city where
everyone is a thief, but little by little they will be corrupted by their environment.
14. The Witch's Garden (USA) - The Witch's Garden (Latin America and Spain)
A spiteful witch strips Jake of his powers after he steals a bagel from her garden and won't give
them back to him unless she receives a sincere apology. Searching for a way to restore Jake's
powers, Finn puts his own life in danger, and Jake's laziness does nothing to help Finn save him.
15. What is Life? (USA) - What is Life? (Latin America and Spain)
When Jake plays a prank on Finn, Finn decides to get revenge by playing a prank on Jake, so he
creates a robot named Neptor.
Jake discovers that Finn is afraid of the ocean, so Jake helps him overcome his fear or his lack of
confidence, but in the process Jake is hurt by Finn because of his lack of confidence.
17. When Wedding Bells Thaw (USA) - Thawing a Wedding (Latin America)
The Ice King is finally getting married, but it goes badly for Finn and Jake as the Ice King is torn
between two decisions: Go ahead with the wedding or continue down the path of kidnapping
princesses.
Finn descends into a cave in hopes of finding adventure, but unfortunately finds only obstacles
that are better suited to Jake's abilities than his own.
During a mishap caused by an accident caused by Finn, Princess Bubblegum turns green and bald,
and blames the Duke of Nuts, so that she won't believe that Finn is not a bad boy. Finn and Jake
will have no choice but to find the Duke of Nuts on Princess Bubblegum's orders.
When Finn and Jake meet an annoying grass ogre named Donny, they are determined to help him
turn his life around, unaware of the ecological consequences of their actions.
Finn takes the place of Marceline's lackey out of "a code of honor," but he realizes how difficult it
will be to obey her strange and supposedly evil way of ordering him around.
23. Rainy Day Daydream (USA) - Fantasizing about a Rainy Day (Latin America)
When Finn and Jake were about to have fun, a strong Knife Storm arrives, Finn and Jake must stay
in the Tree Fort to protect themselves from it, but at home Finn and Jake are going to discover the
power of Jake's imagination.
24. What Have You Done? (USA) - But What Did They Do? (Latin America)
Finn and Jake capture the Ice King under Princess Bubblegum's orders, not even knowing the evil
he has committed, then they free him and lock themselves away without knowing what they did.
25. His Hero (USA) - His Hero (Latin America and Spain)
Finn and Jake meet Billy, the greatest hero in the history of Ooo. But the hero has taken the path
of non-violence and Finn and Jake's wishes spur them to do the same.
A hideous monster resembling Jake called "The Shredder" has been stealing gold from various
towns in Ooo, and Jake is mistaken for being the Shredder.
Second Season
The second season has 26 episodes and originally aired from
October 2010. Until mid-2011.
In "A Woman's Haircut", Finn takes off his hat for the first time
and in "Mystery Train", he turns 13, so he has been eagerly
awaited.
1. It Came from the Nightosphere (USA) - It Came from the Nightosphere (Latin America)
The Dark Lord, who happens to be Marceline's father, creates a huge ruckus in Ooo after Finn
frees him from the Nightosphere believing that Marceline would be pleased to see him, but causes
her great annoyance upon seeing him.
Finn and Jake can't go to bed because a horse outside their house keeps staring at them. The duo
do their best to remove the horse without resorting to violent measures, however, Jake goes on a
rampage.
3. Loyalty to the King (USA) - Loyalty to the King (Latin America and Spain)
Finn and Jake become knights of the new King of Ooo, King Gentle, but when he begins
mistreating the princesses, Finn and Jake suspect that King Gentle is not who he appears to be.
4. Blood Under the Skin (USA) - Blood Under the Skin (Latin America and Spain)
Finn decides to go in search of the best armor in Ooo (Zeldrom's Great Magic Armor), after being
mocked by some knights, but to receive it, he must go on a quest in which he must survive many
embarrassing situations.
To please Jake's whims when he's sick, Finn will have to go deep into the woods to get a real story
with romance, action, suspense and a happy ending to tell him, but in the process he will also
encounter problems with the animals that reside in the forest.
Finn and Jake try to help a giant snail named Snorlock who asks them for help to find a girlfriend or
else he will destroy his house.
7. Power Animal (USA) - Poder Animal (Latin America)
Finn is kidnapped by Gnomes and Jake must find him, but he has trouble concentrating and will
encounter many surprises along the way that will distract him.
Jake decides to take a vow of "Non-Violence" after losing control of himself, which turns out to be
a drawback when some Guardians of the Crystal Dimension kidnap Finn to take him to the Crystal
Dimension on the orders of their Grand Master, who turns out to be Tree Trunks. So Jake must
find a way to save Finn without using violence.
9. The Other Tarts (USA) - Las Otras Tartas (Latin America and Spain)
Finn and Jake will have to take some Royal Cakes to the Royal Congress Hall of the Badlands by
orders of Princess Bubblegum, which if Finn and Jake lose the cakes Princess Bubblegum will be
decapitated, Finn makes a plan to take the Cakes more easily, which did not turn out as he
expected.
10. To Cut a Woman's Hair (USA) - To Cut a Woman's Hair (Latin America)
An ugly old Tree Witch asks Finn and Jake to cut off a lock of hair from a princess to help her with
her baldness and make her beautiful. To pressure Finn, the Tree Witch sits on Jake and threatens
him that if he doesn't get it, she will suck his friend dry, so Finn must get the lock quickly.
11. The Chamber of Frozen Blades (USA) - The Chamber of Frozen Blades (Latin America)
When the Ice King leaves his lair to take a pregnant Gunter to the doctor, Finn and Jake secretly
enter his lair in search of evidence that he has kidnapped another princess, but they get distracted
and start destroying his entire lair.
When Rainbow's parents come to visit Jake, he is afraid that they won't like Jake because of their
racial issues, since Rainbow and Dogs had wars, so in order to get them to accept him, Jake
pretends to be a Rainicorn with Finn's help, which endangers Finn and Jake's friendship in the
process.
14. The Silent King (USA) - The Silent King (Latin America)
After defeating Xergiok, Finn is forced to become the Goblin King and Jake becomes the Goblin
Queen (just to have the same benefits as Finn). But this people does not know how to be
governed.
15. The Real You (USA) - The True You (Latin America)
Finn is trying to get smarter so he can give a lecture that Princess Bubblegum is going to give and
impress her. To do this, he will have to choose between learning everything in a few hours or
cheating and finding something that will make him smart.
Finn and Jake play a game in BMO called "Guardians of the Sun", but when they can't win it, they
get inside BMO because they think that this way they can win more easily, but the monsters and
obstacles in the game are too difficult for them.
Finn and Jake find an underground city that takes them to supposedly scared humans and Finn and
Jake take a "supposedly human" named Susana to get her out of that city and see the wonders of
Ooo, but everything gets complicated when Susana is very shy and afraid of everything she sees.
Jake gives Finn a train ride as a birthday present, but it turns into a mystery when the passengers
are murdered and Finn has to figure out the mystery of those mysterious murders.
Jake and Marceline give Finn advice on asking Princess Bubblegum to go to couples night with him,
but Jake and Marceline have very different views on "romance."
21. Belly Of The Beast (USA) - The Belly of the Beast (Latin America)
Finn and Jake enter the belly of a giant to rescue the people inside it, then they realize that those
inside are some Teddy Bears, so they decide to warn the party bears that they are in danger of
being digested by the giant in its stomach for making fireworks.
Finn and Jake go through a maze in search of some Hot Dog Knights and then they learn that in the
center of the maze there is a creature that can grant their wishes, Finn and Jake want to fulfill their
wish of having an Ancient Psychic Warrior Elephant.
After discovering the government's warnings about films for their film club, Finn and Jake decide
to make their own movie, and get into a fight over the direction of their film.
After the Ice King made a stupid accident that caused Princess Bubblegum to almost die and be
possessed by the Lich, Finn and Jake will have a confrontation with the Lich with the help of the Ice
King, who is in Princess Bubblegum's body, in order to save the lives in Ooo.
Finn and Jake go to Marceline's house to watch a movie and her couch is too uncomfortable to sit
on, so they ask Marceline to turn them into vampires so they can levitate like her and her ghost
friends. But it's just a joke, which goes too far.
Third Season
The Third Season (containing 26 episodes), originally aired in
July 2011 and February 2012. There is a two-part episode
storyline in this season: "Christmas Secrets: Part 1 and Part 2",
as a Christmas special and was released in December 2012 to
coincide with the programming date.
Characters from the first and second seasons also return, such
as Cosmic Owl, Susana, and the Sugar Zombies.
Finn and Jake have to defend their home from the Cutes (who Jake believes are evil), the Cutes are
a small, cute race (who believe they are evil and destructive) led by King Cute.
The two heroes choose to engage in a match against Phantom Gladiators arranged by the Fight
King, but Finn succumbs to the thirst for battle, while Jake becomes obsessed with maintaining
good morals.
3. Memory Of a Memory (USA) - The Memory of a Memory (Latin America and Spain)
An unknown wizard-like person tells Finn and Jake that he is Marceline's spirit animal and that she
is in danger and that they must enter her memory to save her from a curse.
The Ice King hires a fiery hitman in order to beat up Finn and Jake for grounding him for 4 weeks
and not letting him out, but he didn't realize that the hitman was going to kill Finn and Jake.
The Earl of Lemongrab takes over the Candy Kingdom because Princess Bubblegum is getting
older, so Finn and Princess Bubblegum must work together to play pranks on him so that he gets
tired of them and leaves the throne.
The Lumpy Space Kings ask Finn and Jake to bring their daughter back home. At the same time,
they try to discover who the monster is that has been eating the crops of a town.
7. Still (USA) - Frozen (Latin America)
The Ice King freezes Finn and Jake with a potion so that they become his friends and thus get to
know each other better, but by forcing them to do so, Finn and Jake will find a way for the Ice King
to give them the defrosting potion.
Finn and Jake enter a wizard competition in disguise to stop the Ice King from winning the grand
prize: a kiss from Princess Bubblegum.
9. Fionna and Cake (USA) - Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake (Latin America)
Fionna (gender-swapped Finn) spends all day with Prince Bubblegum (gender-swapped Princess
Bubblegum), who shows a sudden interest in her, while receiving advice from her faithful
companion Cake (gender-swapped Jake) about boys.
10. What Was Missing (USA) - What Was Lost (Latin America)
Finn and his friends (Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, Jake) have to play music together like a real
band and as good friends to get back their items stolen by the Janitor.
When Tree Trunks' apples go missing, she, Finn, and Jake descend into the dark side of the Candy
Kingdom which turns out to be a private bar, so they decide to search there in order to find the
thief.
Finn, Jake and some friends attend a masquerade party with a mysterious host. However, the host
reveals himself to be a murderous ghost who possesses the body of one of the guests in order to
kill everyone else. Then the guests begin to celebrate their deaths.
13. From Bad To Worse (USA) - From Bad to Worse (Latin America and Spain)
When another plague of Sugar Zombies breaks out and Princess Bubblegum is among the undead,
Finn and his friends are in a race against time to find a way to stop them, but things are getting
worse by the minute.
While Finn and Jake are at home, Susan appears and asks them for help to fight the Lub Glubs (evil
monsters that live in the water) and take back her people's home in Bellotopia.
15. No One Can Hear You (USA) - Nobody Listens to You (Latin America)
A deer is wreaking havoc in the Sweet Kingdom. He breaks Finn's legs and causes Jake to hit his
head, causing him to act crazier than usual as he's been waiting six months for a surprise party.
16. Jake vs. Me-Mow (USA) - Jake vs. Me-Meow (Latin America and Spain)
Me-Mow, a small murderous cat, hides in a pie, when Jake finds him there and discovers his hiding
place, he hides in his nose and orders him to kill the Mora Princess or face death.
18. The New Frontier (USA) - The New Frontier (Latin America)
Jake has a dream about dying and tells it to Finn, he thinks it will be a long time before it happens,
but the one who was in Jake's dream comes, he tries to go with him and Finn tries to stop Jake.
19. Holly Jolly Secrets Part I (USA) - Christmas Secrets, Part One (Latin America)
First part of this episode, Finn and Jake find some tapes that turned out to be from the Ice King,
and Finn heard that those tapes were "evil" from the Ice King and then they set out to check what
they contain to find their "Evil Secrets".
20. Holly Jolly Secrets Part II (USA) - Christmas Secrets, Part Two (Latin America)
Second Part of the previous episode, the Ice King realizes that they are watching his tapes and
then tries to get in, when Finn and Jake realize this, they hide under their beds and watch the
videos as quickly as possible before the Ice King comes in and finds them.
Finn and Jake go to Marceline's house to play some music and rehearse, but she's not there, so
they play hide and seek, Jake hides in Marceline's house until she arrives, so Finn and Jake hide in
the closet watching everything Marceline does while no one is with her.
Finn and Jake visit a library where Finn discovers a secret war between the Pagelings and Moldos,
he wants Jake to help him solve the problems between them but Jake rejects him calling him a liar
and then decides on his own to help them.
After Finn and Jake break their feet jumping from a height, the Clown Nurses take care of them,
and Finn doesn't like it, but later goes in search of Cyclops' Tears (which are in the forest) to
relieve his feet.
Finn and Jake's father (Joshua) leaves some videoholograms in the tree house to ask them to get
the family sword with demon blood that was stolen from him a long time ago, to do so they will
have to enter a Dungeon.
After Finn is rejected by Princess Bubblegum, Jake searches for another girl for Finn, which leads
him to the court of the Fire Kingdom to win his princess.
Fourth Season
Season 4 premiered on April 2, 2012 in the United
States and on September 3, 2012 in Latin America.
The episode titles were posted on the Frederator
Blog in March 2012.
The season began to be written before or after
May 2011.
According to Andy Risantino, by February 2012,
the season had been written, storyboarded, and
approved.
The season saw the premiere of the series' 100th
episode, "Flashpoint."
Adam Muto reported that characters not seen
since the first season would return, along with The
Earl of Lemongrab, The Magic Man, The Lich,
Ricardio, Hunson Abadeer, Neptor and Billy.
Adam Muto said that BMO and Marceline's past stories would be explored more
this season.
The season featured guest vocals by Donald Faison, George Takei, Erik Estrada,
Andy Milonakis, Phillips Emo, Bobcat Goldthwait and Susie Essman.
There was a two-part storyline this season ("Back to the Nightosphere" and
"Daddy's Little Monster").
Jeremy Shada also mentioned that Marceline and Ice King would sing together
(in "I Remember You").
This season premiered in 2012 in Latin America, making it the first time that a
season premiered in the same year in both Latin America and the United States
since the first season.
The chapters in Latin America are broadcast in a completely altered order.
From "The Monster Princess" onwards it is in order, although after "Lady and
Rainbow" the order changes again.
In Latin America, no new episodes were announced for the months of February
through June 2013, but it was officially confirmed that they would return on July
1, 2013.
The episode "Unstable Fire" became the most watched episode of the series,
with more than 3.5 million viewers. However, overall, this has been the least-
watched season, with most episodes not even making the top 100 for their
premiere days.
1. Hot to the Touch (USA) - Caliente al Tacto (Latin America)
Finn goes in search of Flame Princess to prove to Jake that she is not an evil
girl, but along the way Flame Princess burns everything in her path, causing
damage in the Land of Ooo.
These are five short stories about the senses: BMO about sight, he liked to look
in the mirror, Finn and Jake about touch, they took "high five" to a new level,
Ice King about smell, he wanted to smell good in case a princess came,
Princess Bubblegum about the taste of Cinnamon Bun, she made the best
sandwich, and Lumpy Space Princess about musical hearing, she wanted to
sing a song.
When Jake gets caught in a giant spider web, Finn tries to rescue him but gets
stuck too, so the pair end up playing marriage counselor to a pair of grumpy
arachnids.
First Part of the Episode, Finn and Jake wake up in a "strange place" which is
the Nightosphere, Now, they have to find a way to escape, looking for
Marceline's father, Hudson Abadeer.
Second Part of the Episode, Finn and Jake venture into the Nightosphere, to
save Marceline from the necklace her father put on her.
Finn and Jake befriend a bear, but Jake doesn't trust him and thinks he's trying
to steal his friend Finn's identity.
8. Hug Wolf (USA) - The Hugging Wolf (Latin America)
Finn and Jake go on a mission to burn down an evil tree that grows every 100
years when suddenly Finn fights a Cuddle Wolf who hugs him, after the
encounter with it, Finn goes through a rare transformation from human to
Cuddle Wolf.
When the Princesses of the Land of Ooo begin losing body parts, Finn and Jake
investigate why these thefts are taking place, and their discovery will lead
them into a strange situation with their usual enemy, the Ice King.
11.Beyond This Early Realm (USA) - Beyond the Earthly Realm (Latin
America)
Finn finds a porcelain lamb that transports him to the Spirit World, and only the
Ice King can hear and see him, now Finn wants his help to get him out of there.
Lumpy Space Princess spies on Finn and Jake to write her book on how to
attract men for Princess Turtle. For this he will use Finn as his experiment.
Finn and Jake are called in to solve a hostage crisis in the Candy Kingdom
caused by Princess Cookie, who wants Princess Bubblegum's crown in
exchange for the hostages.
Finn and Jake play an epic card game called Card Wars and Finn ends up liking
it, about to win, Jake gets mad at him and Finn must try to lose since Jake is a
sore loser.
15.Sons of Mars (USA) - Children of Mars (Latin America and Spain)
Magic Man is being hunted down by his brother for trial for all the evil he
committed on Mars, but he tricks them by disguising Jake as Magic Man, so
Finn has to find him before he is killed.
16.Burning Low (USA) - Unstable Fire (Latin America)
Princess Bubblegum and Rainbow Dash search for Finn and Jake who
disappeared for 3 weeks after going to fight the Ice King in a mountain cave.
20.You Made Me! (USA) - You Made Me! (Latin America and Spain)
Finn and Jake try to find out why Count Lemongrass is spying on all the people
of the Candy Kingdom while they sleep, he does it with the intention of taking
subjects to his kingdom.
Finn and Jake challenge The Farm to a fight, but they end up fighting each
other because Jake doesn't get serious and starts playing with a game that Finn
destroys.
While Finn and Jake are at a lake to cool off, they are interrupted by the rain
and leave, but first they offer to defeat a Giant Frog, which is a fearsome
monster that torments the Fish People at night.
Gunther steals the Demon Eye of the Ice King which gave him the power to
create Fake Gunters and make an army of them. Now attack the Candy
Kingdom with that clone army.
Finn has nightmares about a Snail and The Lich, so he decides to go to Billy to
help him defeat him.
Fifth Season
Jesse Moynihan revealed on June 30,
2012 that Season 5 had already been
completed. He also stated that those
who worked on this season were him
and Ako Castuera, Cole Sanchez and
Rebecca Sugar, Tom Herpich and Steve
Wolfhard, Skyler Page and Somvilay
Xayaphone with the help of Kent
Osborne.
The Children of Rainbow and Jake were
also born in the episode called "Jake the
Dad", Flame Princess reappeared in the
episode "The Crypt of Bones" and
became Queen in "Earth and Water",
the second part of Fionna and Cake
called "Bad Boy" was released where
Marshall Lee finally debuted. Finally, the
episode "A Glitch Is A Glitch" was
animated by David O'Reilly, an Irish
animator.
This season premiered on Monday,
November 12th at 7:30/6:30pm, with a
two-part episode, the first episode being the second part of the final episode of
Season 4 followed by "Jake The Dog".
With only 3 weeks between the end of Season 4 and the start of this season,
this has been the shortest time between seasons so far.
There was a sequel to "Five Short Fables" called "Five More Short Fables" and
another called "Five More Little Fables."
This season's long and short preview features footage from the episodes
"Gotcha!" and "In Your Shoes" and footage from the first four episodes of the
season ("Finn the Human," "Jake the Dog," "Five More Short Fables," and "Up
the Tree"). However, an extended sneak peek later came out featuring footage
from the four aforementioned episodes plus nine more ("All the Little People,"
"Jake the Daddy," "Davey," "Mystery Dungeon," "It's All Your Fault," "Little
Guy," "Bad Boy," "The Bone Vault," and "Simon & Marcy") plus two other off-
season episodes ("Animal Power" and "Who Could Win").
Rebecca Sugar left the Adventure Time production team this season, her final
work as storyboarder and composer being the episode "Being More."
Jesse Moynihan said on his website that this season would consist of a total of
52 episodes, making it the season with the most episodes of the series.
This is the most censored season in Latin America.
In Latin America, since Season 5.2, the dubbing studio has changed from
Sensaciones Sónicas to SDI Media of Mexico, changing most of the dubbing
actors.
This season features the main role of Princess Bubblegum, appearing in 26
episodes (with a minor role in 5) and Flame Princess, appearing in 6 episodes
(with a minor role in 2).
Mexico's Channel 5* began broadcasting this season completely uncensored,
along with the broadcast of the episode "All the Little People" on Cartoon
Network.
In Latin America, this season aired with the episode "Daddy's Dungeon" from
the Third season and "The Reign of the Gunters" along with "I Remember You"
from the Fourth season.
1. Finn The Human (USA) - Finn the Human (Latin America and Spain)
The Lich wishes for all life to become extinct, but Finn, in order to prevent this,
wishes that the Lich had never existed. Which causes an alternate world where
Finn has to face poverty and the threat of a dangerous gang.
2. Jake The Dog (USA) - Jake the Dog (Latin America and Spain)
Jake, Prismo and Cosmic Owl see the consequences of Finn's wish and now Jake
must make an important decision while eating a sandwich.
