a) Course Purpose

To equip learners with knowledge skills and appropriate attitudes in the management of
patients with medical surgical conditions of haematological and cardiovascular nature

b) Learning Outcomes

At the end of the Course, learners should be able to:

1. Apply the nursing process in the management of patient with Haematological


conditions

2. Apply the nursing process in the management of patient with cardiovascular disorders

3. Prepare patients for special diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of the
