Job Description

TITLE Senior Program Manager

ROLE Overall ownership of program(s) and/or business vertical

REPORTING The incumbent shall report to the Associate Director at Edunet


Foundation. The incumbent shall also actively work with the client
team(s) in charge of the program and ensure that everybody is in sync
with the program’s progress and outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1. Goal Management: This individual will work to ensure that


overall program goals are achieved, metrics are in line with
expectations and timelines are adhered to.
2. Stakeholder Management and Reporting: The incumbent shall
work with all stakeholders including but not limited to
a. Client
b. Internal audiences
c. Other external stakeholders
She/he shall provide regular reports to all program stakeholders
internally and externally to keep them updated with program
progress. She/he shall also work with stakeholders to manage their
participation and engagement in various aspects of the program.
3. Community Outreach Management: The incumbent will help
enter into agreements with big national and regional companies,
government entities, non-government organizations and other
potential users and clients.
4. Compliance Management: The incumbent will work with team
members including Audit/Accounts team, to ensure that all
compliance reports and proof of performance, as required, is
available for our scrutiny and records.
5. Team Management: The incumbent will actively manage the
work of all team members and ensure that
a. They are adequate equipped to meet their goals and take
corrective action as needed;
b. They are motivated;
c. They are working to meet program goals and objectives
d. They are providing reports in a timely manager

LOCATION & TRAVEL This position is based in Bangalore or Gurgaon/NCR. Since this is a
national role, it will involve significant travel on an ongoing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum:

• Master’s degree in any discipline with 7-10 years of work


experience.
•Prior experience of managing large programs
•An educational qualification in technology, project management or
related fields (preferred)
• Contest management experience (preferred)

4. Working within budgets

integrity.
