Materials:
• Cascade Yarns® Cantata: 70% Cotton/ 30% Merino
Wool 218 yds/ 200 m, 3.5 oz/100 gm; 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) skeins
color #37 Ash Rose
• Size 9 (5.5mm) 32” circular needle
• Size 9 (5.5mm) 16” circular needle
• Size 8 (5mm), 24” circular needle
• Cable needle
• Stitch markers

Techniques:
Divide for Front & Back
1/2RC: Slip next 2 sts to CN & hold in back, k1, knit 2 sts

1/2LC: Slip next st to CN & hold in Front, knit next 2 sts, hold for Front.

Make Double Stitch (DS) (German Short Row): With the
yarn at the front (this applies to right or wrong side rows), Back:
slip the first stitch purlwise from the left needle to the Working back & forth in rows, work even in established
right. Tug on the yarn attached to the stitch and lift it up pattern until armholes measure 7½, (7¾ , 8¼, 8½, 9)”,

Instructions:
Cast on 176 (200, 224, 248, 272) sts, pm for BOR, join for
working in the round, being careful not to twist.
Work In Garter Rib until piece measures 3” from
beginning, ending with Rnd 1 of Garter Rib pattern.
Next Rnd (Inc): *K44 (50, 56, 62, 68), m1; rep from * 3

Neck Finishing:
With smaller circular needle, pick up 112 (112, 116, 116,
120) sts around neck edge. Work in Garter Rib for 1½” or
desired length. Bind off loosely.

Finishing:
Sew sleeves into armhold openings.
Weave in all ends & block.
