Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023 Junior Edition

The first edition of Junior Smart India Hackathon (SIH) was launched in 2022. Nine
teams from Odisha had been shortlisted out of a total of 519 teams from different
schools across the country. Six teams out of the nine shortlisted teams were from FBS,
who had qualified for SIH 2022 finals. This was a remarkable achievement made by
FBS students.
The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), in association with the All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched the second edition of “Junior
Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023”.
 Students from Class 6 – Class 12 are eligible to participate in this event.
 In Track 1, students who are in 6th to 9th standard can form a team together
 In Track 2, students who are in 10th to 12th standard can form a team together
 Teams need to present innovative ideas (problem statements) based on any of
the 16 themes mentioned in the SIH website and come up with proposed
solutions.
