Kinds of Noun

Nouns according to number is divided to two parts: countable noun and uncountable noun.
Countable Noun
A countable noun is a noun that can be counted. Countable have singular and plural form
Example chair car table, book, pen, dog, man,
I read a book in library
Ali and tom eat dinner

Uncountable Noun:
An uncountable noun is a noun that cannot be counted
Example happiness, sugar, pain, air, water,
I like eating rice
I drink water a lot
Laila cooks soup with oil

Simple Past Tense


It Is used to show an action which started and competed at some specified time in the past.
Structure:
A.F: S + V2+C.
Q.F: DID + S + V +C?
N.F: S +DID + NOT +V + C.
N.I.F: DID + NOT + S + V + C?
EX:
He saw his friend yesterday. He invited me in a party.
Did he see his friend yesterday? Did he invite me in a party?
He did not see his friend yesterday. He did not invite me in a party.
Did not he see his friend yesterday? Did not he invite in a party.

Regular and Irregular Verbs

Regular verbs are those verbs which take (end) at the end.
present Past

Irregular verbs are those verbs which don't have any rule completely change.

Past Present
Spoke speak
Came come
Read read

Two boys played with a ball. (+) I spoke English language.


An old lady walked with her cat. (?) Did I speak English language?
She spoke English very well (-) I did not speak English language.
She finished all the exercise. (? -) Did not I speak English language.

Past Progressive Tense


It shows an action which was in progress in the past.
S + was / were+ v ing +c (+)
S +was /were + not +v ing +c (-)
Was /were + S+ v ing + c?
Was /were + not + S +v ing + c?
e.g. Ali was brushing his teeth in the morning +
Ali was not brushing his teeth in the morning -
was Ali brushing his teeth in the morning?
was not ail brushing his teeth in the morning?
e.g.
Sana was reading the book in the library
they were fighting in school
we were studding French in school

Comparative / Superlative
We have three forms for comparison adjective {simple, comparative, superlative}
Simple: in this form adjective describes one person, place, thing
jawed is cleaver student
Asif is tall and strong
This book is red
Comparative: is used to compare two people, place thing and place
Lila is better than Ahmad in class.
Zahra is taller than Sana
Ommiad is braver than his small brother
This group is stronger than that group
This beer is faster than that one.

Superlative: we used one person or thing to group of person or thing.


She is the most intelligent student in the class.
We are the most faster player in time.
He is the most handsome boy in the class.
He is the most stupid person in this area.

Interrogative Adjective
Is a word which is used to ask question and it always come before noun. {which, what, whose}
Which _ asking about specific item or choice
Which book do you want to read?
What _asking for information
What color do like?
Whose _ asking about possession
Whose pencil is this?

Possessive Adjective:
It shows the possession or ownership of a noun .it always followed by a noun. {my, your, his, her,
its, our, their}
His book is excellent.

Must / Should:
These are kinds of model auxiliary verb which show obligation and necessity
She must read a lot
She should study all days
You must come on time
They should speak English
