St. Camillus Medhaven, a nursing facility in Marikina City, offers three specialized care
centers. The main facility, the Camillus Medhaven Nursing Home, and the Annex of a Dementia
Village are in Marikina Heights, Marikina City. The third branch is located in Antipolo. These
facilities are owned and operated by the Camillians, also known as the Order of the Ministers of
the Sick.
The site location is highly accessible for the convenience of the staff, residents, families,
and visitors. Unfortunately, the only public transportation that is accessible and available nearby
is tricycles. Nevertheless, adequate spaces are allotted for parking lots inside the nursing home.
The St. Camillus Medhaven was established in 2006 as a nursing home. However, in
1992, it was first established as St. Camillus Home of Charity before it became known as the St.
Camillus Medhaven Nursing Home. This charity is given home to the patients of the Philippine
Orthopedic Center who suffer from abandoned paraplegia and quadriplegics. When 2006 came,
the facility shifted into a private nursing home that offers 40-bed aged care services that are not
limited to people with disabilities. In 2019, they opened another branch, the Camillus Medhaven
Nursing Home Annex, presenting the fully functional Dementia Village in the country. By 2020,
Camillus Medhaven got big and became the most significant private nursing home in the
Philippines, providing 185 beds and offering a complete range of aged care services, such as
