11. Assertion (A): Surface area of sphere of radius 7cm is 616cm2. Ryan

Reason (R): Surface area of sphere is 4 r 2 where r is radius.

12. Assertion (A): Volume of a cube is 64cm3, if each side of cube is 4.1cm. DPS
Reason (R): Volume of cube = side3
13. Determine volume of a conical tin whose radius of base is 30 cm and its slant Carmel
height is 50cm.
14. Two cubes each of volume 64 cm3 are joined end-to-end. Find the total DPS
surface area of the resulting cuboid.
15. Into a conical tent of radius 8.4m and vertical height 3.5m. How many full Saupin's
bags of wheat can be emptied, if space for the wheat in each bag is 1.96 m3 ?
16. A glass hemispherical bowl is of radius 9 cm. How many litres of water can St. Anne’s

take shelter. Each group of four students was given a canvas of area 551m 2 .
Each group had to make a conical tent to accommodate all the four students.
Assuming that all the stitching and wasting incurred while cutting, would
amount to 1m 2 , the students put the tents, the radius of the tent is 7m.

i. Find the height of the conical tent prepared.

ii. Find the slant height of the conical tent.
iii. How much space on the ground is occupied by each student in the
