This is to certify that the Report on Summer Internship Project at M.S.R GROUP
OF BUSINESS is a record of bonafide work done by our group under the

Our group, a bonafide students of ICFAI University, Mizoram, extent our
heartfelt gratitude to the ICFAI University, Mizoram for giving us a great
opportunity for our Summer Internship Project and to gain working knowledge
which would enable us to put our theoretical knowledge into practice and for
granting us the opportunity to work with M.S.R Group of Business, Aizawl.

their support and coordination. With a dedicated help from Miss
Malsawmsangi, we were able to collect all the information required for our
project.

Professor, Department of Management, ICFAI University, Mizoram for her
support and guidance.
Introduction
M.S.R Group is a family run business which has expanded enormously in the
last five years. It could be considered as one of the leaders of today’s family
run business venture in Aizawl.
Founded in 2017, MSR Group own a couple of business ranging from drug store
to restaurant, gym, home essentials and many more. We will briefly look into
the various business owned by them:
(i) Miniso:
Miniso is a Chinese low-cost retailer and variety store chain that specializes in
household and consumer goods including cosmetics, stationery, toys, and
kitchenware. The company is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong under
their Chinese holding company Aiyaya. Miniso was founded in 2013 by
Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu. Miniso's first store opened in China in 2013,
and the majority of its stores still operate there. MINISO has opened more
than 4,200 stores in over 80 countries and regions since 2013, including the
US, UK, Australia, Spain, UAE, India, and Mexico.
(ii) Rocking Deals:
Rocking deals distribution channel enables the remote and metro users to
attract customers with great discounts and after sales support. This hassle free
service not just enable to save extra cost but also give varieties with many
categories and many products with full product guarantee. Rocking Deals, the
world’s leading excess inventory brand, has opened a new store in Mizoram.
Bringing the most ‘Rocking Deals’ to customers in the region, the store was
inaugurated on 18th December, 2021. Present at MSR Market, the feature-rich
store houses a wide range of items ranging from home appliances, to mobile
accessories, to I.T and speakers, to home invention, glass wear, footwear,
sports, toys, luggage bags, watches and much more.
(iii) MSR Gym:
The gym business provides the opportunity for young man/ladies to be
confident about their fitness expectations. It is a business that delivers physical
fitness training trough all-female/male and expert trainer, highly sophisticated
equipment, extraordinary exercise programs, in their convenient schedules.
(iv) Kori’s:
Kori’s, is a Korean Premium Café & Restro brand known for serving its authentic
Korean Dishes and by using freshest ingredients with the original Kori’s recipe
to deliver the best experience to our customers. Chief’s story, Kori’s has on-
boarded Chef Seong Wan Park from South Korea with the vast experience in
Korean and International Cuisine. With an eye for new and fresh Korean cuisine
at Kori’s. Brand Story, Kaiel Hotel and Restaurant Pvt. Ltd. is a multi-faceted
hospitality entity specializing in catering and restaurant service. Founded in
2012, with a simple passion to serve the most Authentic Korean food in
mainland India through Kori’s.
(v) Stayfit Kitchen:
The rapid growth of online food ordering sector creates new business
opportunities for existing and upcoming restaurants to grow their business one
such upcoming trend is the cloud kitchen business model. As we live in era
where we order food right from your mobile and get it delivered to our location.
Nowadays, all the restaurant you visit collaborate with online food ordering
portals like Zomato, to ease the ordering process and expand their business as
well.
(vi) MSR Drugs Store:
MSR Drug Store in Dawrpui, Aizawl is known to satisfactorily cater to the
demands of its customer base. The business came into existence in 2014 and
has, since then, been a known name in its field. It is located at Civil Hospital
Road, Dawrpui-796001. Aizawl Civil Hospital is a prominent landmark in the
area and this establishment is in close proximity to the same. The business
strives to make for a positive experience through its offerings. They accept
different modes of payment such as cash, online and card payment and make
every business transaction easy and seamless, contributing to making the
entire process even more effective.
Customer centricity is at the core of MSR Drug Store in Dawrpui, Aizawl and it
is this belief that has led the business to build long-term relationships. Ensuring
a positive customer experience, making available goods and/or services that are
of top-notch quality is given prime importance.
(vii) MSR Essentials:
MSR is committed to digital accessibility. MSR partners with essential
accessibility to ensure the website is accessible and functional for all the
customers while providing free assistive technology for people with physical
disabilities.
M S R PROFILE
MSR market is a multi purpose market that sells Korean product. In
this establishment, there are two (2) local market, namely
[Link] and Planet Superheroes respectively. MSR has an online
shopping platform and it is free and easily accessible. They have a
wide selection of products across various categories. They have huge
selection of products from home essentials, personal essentials,
skincare, baby products, lifestyle accessories, sport supplements,
snacks & beverages and many more

This is the organizational structure for family business. The
manager is the head of the organisation. The sales department is
divided as per the size of the restaurant, gym, MINISO etc. Each
department has a sales manager.
