organizing, and outlining all the essential components and activities required to achieve a
specific goal or objective within a predetermined timeframe and budget.
Importance of Construction Methods and Project Management:
 Minimize Uncertainties - we can be sure on what to do in a project because there is
already a concrete plan that provides details reducing the risk of any failures.
 Cost Efficiency - Well-defined construction methods and meticulous project
management minimize waste, optimize resource allocation, and prevent costly delays,
leading to significant savings.

3. Yes, if either the contractor or the owner fails to comply with their duties and responsibilities
as stipulated in the approved contract, it is generally safe to impose the necessary penalties
and take legal action, provided that the contract clearly defines the penalties and legal
remedies for non-compliance.
However, it is crucial to review the contract's terms and conditions to ensure that any penalties
or legal actions align with what was agreed upon and are enforceable in a court of law.
Consulting with a legal professional or contract specialist can help ensure that actions taken
are appropriate and within the boundaries of the law.

4. It's generally not a good idea to start a project without an approved contract. A contract
clarifies the project details, payment terms, and responsibilities of everyone involved. Without it,
there's no clear agreement, which can lead to misunderstandings, disputes, and even legal
issues. It's best to have a contract in place before starting any project.
