Your final exam will be a group project in the form of a Digital Scrapbook titled " The

Self Revealed: Exploring Sexual, Economic, and Political Realities," paired with an
Individual Personal Reflection as your final requirement. This comprehensive
requirement will demonstrate both your group’s collaborative efforts and your personal
insights into the topics discussed: The Sexual Self, The Material/Economic Self, and
The Political Self.

Detailed Instructions
General Guidelines

1. Group Size:
You may choose your own group members. Each group will consist of 8-10
members. Please make sure that all members contribute equally to the project to
ensure a balanced and successful outcome.

2. Platform:
Use tools such as Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, or any other digital
platform that supports multimedia integration.

3. Format:
The scrapbook should be visually appealing, with clear headings and sections.
Include images, text, and videos (optional).

4. Submission:
Submit the final scrapbook as a PDF.

Content Requirements

1. The Sexual Self:


o Informational Content: Write a 200–300-word article about the Sexual
Self and its influence on identity, relationships, and societal roles.
o Creative Piece: Include a group-created visual or literary work (e.g.,
artwork, poem, or photo collage) addressing themes like inclusivity,
gender identity, or sexual health.
o Case Study or Story: Present a real-life or fictional case study exploring
issues related to sexuality, along with your group’s insights and reflections.
2. The Material/Economic Self:
o Infographic or Chart: Visualize how material possessions and economic
status impact self-perception and societal roles.
o Budgeting Challenge: Develop a sample budget for a fictional individual
or family, reflecting priorities in needs, wants, and savings.
o Reflection: Each group member shares a short paragraph about how
material possessions or financial choices have shaped their sense of self.

3. The Political Self:


o Advocacy Campaign Design: Create a visual campaign (poster,
infographic, or video storyboard) addressing a social or political issue of
importance.
o Position Statement: Write a persuasive 200–300-word essay explaining
the significance of your chosen issue and proposed solutions.
o Action Plan: Outline concrete steps for raising awareness or creating
change (e.g., petitions, forums, or social media initiatives).

4. Integration and Reflection:


o Include a final section tying together the Sexual, Material/Economic, and
Political Self. Reflect on how these aspects interconnect and influence
both individual and collective identity.

5. Group Photo or Representation:


o Add a creative group photo, logo, or illustration that symbolizes your team.

Part 2: Individual Personal Reflection

Guidelines
In addition to the group project, each student will submit a Personal Reflection (300–
500 words).

Content Requirements:
1. Connections to Your Life:
o Reflect on how these aspects of the self are present in your life or the
world around you.
o Provide specific examples or experiences that connect to the topics.
2. Group Experience:
o Discuss your role in the group project and how the collaboration helped
you grow.
o Highlight any challenges your group faced and how they were resolved.

3. Future Applications:
o Explain how the knowledge gained from this course will influence your
future decisions or actions.

Submission Guidelines:
 Submit your personal reflection as a typed document (PDF).
 Use standard formatting: 12-point font, double-spaced, 1-inch margins. Arial.

Assessment Criteria:

o Depth and accuracy of information.
