Materi: Active Voice dan Passive Voice dalam Berbagai Tenses

1. Simple Present Tense

 Active Voice: Kalimat aktif menunjukkan kebiasaan, fakta umum, atau kondisi yang selalu
benar.
o Struktur: Subjek + Verb 1 (s/es)
o Example:
 She reads books every day.
 They play football every Sunday.

 Passive Voice: Dalam kalimat pasif, objek menjadi subjek dan menggunakan is/am/are.
o Struktur: Subjek + is/am/are + Verb 3 (V3) + (by + pelaku)
o Example:
 Books are read by her every day.
 Football is played by them every Sunday.

2. Simple Past Tense

 Active Voice: Kalimat aktif menggambarkan aksi yang terjadi di masa lalu.
o Struktur: Subjek + Verb 2
o Example:
 He finished his homework last night.
 They visited the museum last weekend.

 Passive Voice: Dalam kalimat pasif, objek menjadi subjek, dan verb to be menggunakan
was/were.
o Struktur: Subjek + was/were + Verb 3 (V3) + (by + pelaku)
o Example:
 His homework was finished by him last night.
 The museum was visited by them last weekend.

3. Future Tense

 Active Voice: Kalimat aktif yang menunjukkan aksi yang akan dilakukan di masa depan.
o Struktur: Subjek + will + Verb 1
o Example:
 They will complete the project next month.
 She will call me later.

 Passive Voice: Dalam kalimat pasif, objek menjadi subjek, dan verb to be digunakan dalam
bentuk will be.
o Struktur: Subjek + will be + Verb 3 (V3) + (by + pelaku)
o Contoh:
 The project will be completed by them next month.
(Proyek itu akan diselesaikan oleh mereka bulan depan.)
 I will be called by her later.
(Saya akan ditelepon olehnya nanti.)
4. Present Continuous Tense

 Active Voice: Kalimat yang menunjukkan aksi yang sedang berlangsung saat ini.
o Struktur: Subjek + am/are/is + Verb 1 + ing
o Example:
 Active: I am writing a letter right now.
 They are playing football now
o
 Passive Voice: Dalam kalimat pasif, objek menjadi subjek dan verb to be digunakan dalam
bentuk am/are/is being.
o Struktur: Subjek + am/are/is being + Verb 3 (V3) + (by + pelaku)
o Example:
 A letter is being written by me right now.
Passive: Football is being played by them now.

5. Past Continuous Tense

 Active Voice: Kalimat yang menunjukkan aksi yang sedang berlangsung di masa lalu.
o Struktur: Subjek + was/were + Verb 1 + ing
o Example:
 She was reading a book when I arrived.
 They were watching TV when the power went out.

 Passive Voice: Dalam kalimat pasif, objek menjadi subjek, dan verb to be digunakan dalam
bentuk was/were being.
o Struktur: Subjek + was/were being + Verb 3 (V3) + (by + pelaku)
o Example:
 A book was being read by her when I arrived.
 TV was being watched by them when the power went out.

6. Present Perfect Tense

 Active Voice: Kalimat yang menunjukkan aksi yang telah selesai pada suatu titik waktu di
masa lalu, tetapi masih berhubungan dengan sekarang.
o Struktur: Subjek + have/has + Verb 3 (V3)
o Example:
 I have finished my homework.
 They have eaten lunch.

 Passive Voice: Dalam kalimat pasif, objek menjadi subjek dan verb to be menggunakan
have/has been.
o Struktur: Subjek + have/has been + Verb 3 (V3) + (by + pelaku)
o Example:
 My homework has been finished by me.
 Lunch has been eaten by them.
