What is the difference between IT and ICT?

- These two acronyms are all about technology where “IT” stands for “Information
Technology” and “ICT” stands for “Information and Communication Technology”.
Information Technology or IT is a board range of technologies based on
computing, networks and data storage. It is commonly used in automation,
transaction processing, knowledge processes, decision making, problem solving,
control systems, robotics, data analysis, information access and entertainment.
While Information Communication and Technology or ICT is a broader term that
includes telecommunications infrastructure such as mobile phones networks with
IT.
