Passenger Clearance Building


Introduction

Facilities
The two-storey Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Passenger Clearance Building
(PCB) is equipped with retail shops, food and beverage outlets as well as automated
teller machines (ATMs) on the ground floor (Arrival Hall) and the first floor (Departure
Hall) to meet passengers' needs. There are also a visitor centre and Hong Kong
International Airport check-in service counters at the Arrival Hall and shuttle bus ticket
counters and ticket vending machines at the restricted area of the Departure Hall to
serve passengers.

Family toilet cubicles, accessible toilets and infant care rooms are provided at the PCB.

Characteristics
The roof of PCB is designed in the form of a wave to evoke the undulating flow of
surrounding waters. It is supported by a few tree-like structural columns to create an
enhanced sense of spaciousness at the Arrival and Departure Halls. Designed with
abundant natural light, the PCB is an energy efficient and environmentally friendly
infrastructure.

The Hong Kong Port Facilities map indicates the locations and facilities that
passengers pass through after entering the 1/F Departure Hall and the G/F Arrival Hall
of the Passenger Clearance Building. The lifts and staircases connecting 1/F and G/F of
the Passenger Clearance Building are located on both sides of the vehicle drop-off area.

1/F Departure Hall, Passenger Clearance Building


Help desk and retail shops are located near the entrance of the 1/F Departure Hall of
the Passenger Clearance Building, and retail shops can be found after the completion
of immigration clearance and customs clearance of passengers.

There are two washrooms/accessible toilets and one infant care room in front of the
immigration counters and the e-Channels, and after the completion of the customs
clearance of passengers.

G/F Arrival Hall, Passenger Clearance Building


Help desk and retail shops are located near the entrance of the G/F Arrival Hall of the
Passenger Clearance Building, and retail shops, cafes, restaurants and ATMs can be
found after the completion of immigration clearance and customs clearance of
passengers.

There are two washrooms/accessible toilets and one infant care room in front of the
immigration counters and the e-Channels, and after the completion of the customs
clearance of passengers.
The exit of the G/F Arrival Hall of the Passenger Clearance Building is connected to the
domestic public transport interchange.
