PROJECTS
Field Service Management System Paytm June 2022-Nov 2022
● Used to onboard new merchants on Paytm Platform. Offer merchants Paytm services like Soundbox, QR codes.
● Using Terraform for cloud provisioning. This includes setting up VPC, EC2 servers, load-balancers, security groups,
VPC Peering, Site-to-Site VPN Connection, S3 buckets, Autoscaling Groups, CloudWatch etc.
● Frontend is hosted on S3 and the backend is running on tomcat.
● Monitoring tools - ELK for application logging.
● Traffic: 1000-2000 requests per second
Incentive Service Paytm June 2022-Nov 2022
● System to provide commission to FSEs based on their targets achieved.
● This was a new project which we set up in a new AWS account.
● Used terraform for cloud provisioning. This includes setting up VPC, EC2 servers, load-balancers, security groups,
VPC Peering, Site-to-Site VPN Connection, S3 buckets, Autoscaling Groups, CloudWatch etc.
● Used Ansible for configuration management and deployments.
● Monitoring stack - ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
LOS Paytm Nov 2022-Present
● This Project facilitated the onboarding of multiple lenders onto Paytm platform, enabling them to offer a diverse range
of financial services to users.
● Complete infra is running on EKS which is automated via terraform including other infra components.
● Around 20-30 micro services are running on the cluster based on java, Node and python.
● All the CICD jobs are written in groovy via Jenkins file with jobs running on docker container agent.
● All the backend deployments are done via ARGOCD running on the Kubernetes cluster.
● Python scripts are also written to automate manual actions. For ex - Uploading new chart revisions on the nexus
repo.
● Monitoring stack - ELK, Prometheus, Elastic APM.
● All the infra related charts such as - ELK, Kafka, Istio, argocd, alb controller, ebs aws node termination, cluster
autoscaler etc. are installed via helm file.
VKYC Paytm Jan 2024-Present
● Streamline the video KYC process to facilitate the provision of financial services to customers.
● We have successfully implemented the third-party video KYC tool, enableX, on our servers.
● Complete infra is running on EKS which is automated via terraform including other infra components.
● Around 10-15 micro services are running on the cluster based on java, Node.
● All the CICD jobs are written in groovy via Jenkins file with jobs running on docker container agent.
● All backend deployments are managed using ARGOCD, which operates within the Kubernetes cluster.
● Monitoring stack - ELK, Prometheus, Elastic APM.
● All infrastructure-related charts, including ELK, Kafka, Istio, ArgoCD, ALB Controller, EBS AWS Node
Termination Handler, Cluster Autoscaler, and others, are installed using Helmfile.
TEAM TASKS
● Contributed to creating python-based cost reports.
● Created a python automation to check the validity of AWS ACM and p12 certificates and get notified in slack channel.
● Migrated EKS Service from old EKS cluster to new EKS Cluster.
● Migrated AMD and Intel based EC2 to Servers to Graviton to save infrastructure cost.
● Wrote Jenkins file for all the application builds.
