SUBJECT : Spot Report re: Mauling Incident

At about 12:45 AM, this date, Security guard, Rafael Paranan of Gat Andres
Bonifacio Hospital reported thru telephone the above captioned case to this office. The
undersigned proceeded to the said medical institution to conduct investigation.

Upon arrival at the aforementioned hospital, the undersigned was met by the
said security guard and was escorted to the emergency ward where the fatality
identified as:

ELNER PARRO y LARUAN, male, 45 years old,


married, construction worker, and a resident of Blk 4 Old Site,
Barangay 649 BASECO Compound, Port Area, Manila.

was confined. He was unconscious. Hospital records showed that he was rushed there
by his cousin, Edward Benito y Laruan @ Edward, male, married, 35years old,
construction worker and a resident of Blk 4 Old Site Barangay 649 BASECO
Compound Tondo, Manila.

The mauling incident occurred at January 11, 2025, at around 11:00 PM, inside the
billiard hall at Blk. 2 Old Site, Barangay 649 BASECO Compound, Port Area, Manila.

The undersigned together with Edward Benito went to the crime scene to conduct
investigation which was identified to be inside the billiard hall at Blk. 2 Old Site,
Barangay 649 BASECO Compound, Port Area, Manila. It is an establishment for
playing pool. It was observed that there were four pool tables. No other witnesses were
present there to shed light on this case.

Edward Benito disclosed that prior to the incident, he was eating at a nearby
canteen when he heard a commotion in said billiard hall. Immediately he saw his
cousin already lying on the pavement. He saw two male persons in the act of mauling
the victim. One was Guillermo Wacoy whom he saw kicked twice the victim’s stomach.
As the victim tried to stand up, the other male person, James Quibac delivered one
fistic blow again to the stomach of the victim that caused him to collapse and cry in
pain. Thereafter, both men escaped.

No other details were gathered as of this report.

Incident under follow up and further investigation without prejudice to filing


the same with the Office of the City Prosecutor of Manila. Any new development of this
case will be treated in a separate report.
