INGREDIENTS

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup water

2 tbsp melted butter

A pinch of salt

Optional: Sugar or vanilla extract for sweet crepes

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine.

2. Mix in the melted butter and a pinch of salt. For sweet crepes, you can add a little sugar or vanilla extract to taste.

3. Heat a lightly buttered frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan, using approximately 1/4
cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.

4. Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn, and cook the other side.

5. Serve hot with your favorite fillings, such as fresh fruit, jam, Nutella, or simply sprinkle with sugar. Delight in the elegance

of your homemade French crepes!

NOTES

1. Resting the Batter: Allowing the batter to rest for at least an hour can improve the texture of the crepes.
2. Consistency: The batter should be thin, similar to heavy cream. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk or water.
3. Cooking Temperature: Medium heat is ideal. If the pan is too hot, the crepes will cook too quickly and may become
hard.
4. Flipping Technique: Use a thin spatula to gently lift the edges before flipping, or give the pan a quick jerk to loosen the
crepe.
5. Variety: Experiment with different fillings to enjoy the wide range of flavors crepes can offer, from sweet to savory.
