-Afsah Buraaq

Agriya:
"roses are red,
sky is blue,
teachers like you,
make dreams come true.
books are the seeds,
knowledge the due,
oh, our dear teachers,
we love you”
Palsheen: "Good morning, respected sisters, dear teachers, and the spectators. Today, we have
gathered here, to celebrate the guiding lights of our lives—our teachers. Teacher's Day,
celebrated on the 5th of September, marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,
a great scholar, philosopher, and the second President of India.
It is a day dedicated for honoring the remarkable contributions of teachers, who shape our lives
with their wisdom, patience, and love."
Ridhi: In ancient times, there was a young boy named Eklavya, born in a humble tribal family.
Despite his background, he dreamt of becoming the greatest archer, a skill reserved for the
warriors of the land. His heart was set on learning from the legendary Guru Dronacharya.
samikaa: I may not have the honor of learning directly from Guru Dronacharya, but I shall
learn through this statue. I will dedicate every breath, every heartbeat to mastering this art.
Ridhi : “Eklavya’s dedication knew no bounds. Day after day, he practiced tirelessly. One day,
his persistence was tested when he encountered a wild boar.”
samikaa: The arrow hit its mark, saving Eklavya from the charging boar. This was a moment of
triumph, not just over the wild beast, but over his own fears and limitations. His skill had
reached unparalleled heights.
Scene: A decorated hall for a reunion party. A table with drinks and snacks is set up stage left,
and a group of former students is mingling stage right. Students are having tea while chatting
and laughing
Bhakti:"It’s been ages! How are you doing? Life treating you well?"
Anveita: "Yes, it’s been quite a journey. Life is good, but busy. You know, I’ve been thinking a
lot about our school days. Do you remember our primary school teacher?"
Bhakti: "Oh yes, Mrs. Sharma! She was so kind and patient. I remember struggling with reading
and writing. I could barely hold a pencil properly."
Anveita: "But look at you now! How did you overcome all that?"
Bhakti: "It was all thanks to Mrs. Sharma. She stayed with me after class, helping me bit by bit.
She made me believe in myself. Now, I’m a published author, and it’s all because of her."
Shreya: "You know, I had a similar experience with our SST teacher, Ms. Khan. She always
said, ‘Justice is the pillar of a fair society.’ Her passion inspired me to become a lawyer. Today,
I’m fighting against societal evils, and it’s all because of her influence."
Sehaj: "Mr. Verma, our sports teacher, was the one who inspired me. He always pushed us
beyond our limits. I remember sweating under the hot sun, thinking it was too much. But now, as
a cricketer, I understand the value of his lessons."
Shreya: "It’s true. Our teachers shape us in ways we often don’t realize until much later."
Afsah: "And that’s why I became a teacher myself. It’s my way of continuing their legacy.”
Bhavya: "As we’ve seen, the influence of a teacher transcends time and circumstance. From the
ancient story of Eklavya to our modern experiences, teachers have always been the bedrock of
our growth and success. Today, we honor not just their knowledge, but their unwavering
dedication, patience, and love."
Faliha:Dil se jo utri baat hai,
Usko gana banaya hai,
Unki yaadon mein, unki khidmat mein,
Humne ye geet sajaya hai.
Afsah:
Charul:
"No matter how high we rise or how far we go,
The first step you guided us to take,
Its impact will be seen in every milestone we reach."
Afsah:
Charul:
"You taught us that success isn’t just about reaching the goal,
But about making the journey beautiful."
Afsah:
Charul:
"In this worldly life, we may never fully repay your kindness,
But every day, we will remember the blessings you have given us."
Afsah:
Bhavya:
"Our gratitude towards you isn’t something that words alone can express,
It’s a feeling, deep within our hearts, that will guide us always."
Afsah:
Bhavya:
"You gave us more than just knowledge,
You taught us the values that make life meaningful."
Afsah and Charul (together):
"Thank you, Ustaad, for everything you have given us,
Your teachings will remain in our hearts forever.
Aaj, kal, aur hamesha."
THANKYOU!!!
