TOPIC OF INTERNSHIP
The topic of the internship I completed during the intervening period of my 2nd and 3rd semester is "Soft
Skills" conducted by Campus Champ.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNSHIP
• This internship focuses on soft skills and personality development, providing individuals with
practical experiences and training to enhance interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and
overall professional demeanour.
• It helped me to enhance and develop various soft skills necessary for personal and professional
growth. The emphasis was on improving communication, group discussion, public speaking,
presentation skills, interview FAQs, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, confidence,
collaboration, listening, and time management.
• The ultimate goal is to equip us with the necessary tools to excel in their professional careers by
enhancing soft skills and overall personality. Throughout this internship, we learn about the
intricacies of self-awareness, effective communication techniques, and presentation skills.
• The purpose of this internship report is to provide a comprehensive overview of my internship
experience focused on developing soft skills. The report will discuss the objectives of the internship,
specific skills required, and documentation of the skills acquired during the internship. Gain
experience in working collaboratively with team members, recognizing the value of collective effort,
effective communication, and cooperation in achieving common goals. Gain an understanding of
professional etiquette and develop the ability to conduct oneself appropriately in various professional
settings, including meetings, networking events, and client interactions.

2. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ACQUIRED
Personality development and public speaking are two essential aspects of personal and professional
growth. They contribute significantly to an individual's self-confidence, communication abilities,
and overall effectiveness in various settings.
1. Communication Skills
Effective communication is crucial in the workplace as it enables the exchange of information, ideas,
and fosters collaboration. I gained valuable insights into active listening, verbal and non-verbal
communication, written communication, cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution, and
presentation skills.
2. Presentation Skills
Effective presentation skills are crucial in various aspects of life, including academic, professional,
and personal settings. It taught us the ability to deliver a well-structured, engaging, and impactful
presentation that not only conveys information but also influences and inspires the audience.

3. Group Discussion
Group discussions provided opportunities for collaborative learning, sharing ideas, and arriving at

Resume building involves a structured approach that includes workshops, individualized feedback,
examples, and ongoing support. By providing participants with the necessary tools and guidance, it
empowered individuals to create professional resumes that effectively communicate their

We engaged in team-building activities, such as workshops, retreats, icebreaker games which helped
us to promote bonding, build relationships, and improve communication within the team. It helped
us to define roles and responsibilities for each team member to clarify expectations and avoid
confusion. Everyone understood their unique contributions which led to the team's success.
6. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
I actively engaged in problem-solving exercises and learned various strategies to approach and resolve
complex issues effectively. Through critical thinking and analysis, I developed the ability to identify
problems, evaluate alternatives, and make informed decisions. I learned to consider different perspectives,
gather relevant information, and apply logical reasoning to find creative and effective solutions. This skill

In conclusion, the soft skill development internship was a transformative experience that
equipped us with essential skills for success in the professional world. Through workshops,
practical teamwork exercises, exercises we improved our communication, problem-solving,
leadership, time management, and adaptability skills.
These skills will serve as a strong foundation for our future careers, enabling us to effectively
collaborate, navigate challenges, and make meaningful contributions in the workplace. I am
grateful for the opportunity to develop these skills during the internship and look forward to
