● What do you usually use the internet for?
To be honest, I usually use the Internet to keep in touch with my family and
my friends over long distances through some apps such as Facebook,
Instagram, etc. Moreover, I also use the Internet to learn by finding out
information regarding my lesson.
Part 3: Write 30 – 40 words
A: I usually spend 6 hours a day studying English. How do you learn English?
Hi, nice to meet you. I am a student so I have to go to school from the morning to
the afternoon. This is the reason why I just have free time in the evening and I
always spend 2 hours learning English before I goam going to sleep. I learn
English by watching foreign films or listening to some English music. I find it
useful for me to learn vocabulary; moreover, it enables me to improve my speaking
and listening skills.
B: English is a popular language in the world. What are your thoughts on this idea?
Hi, I am glad to talk to you. I can see eye to eye with you. English is the second
language in the world; therefore, English plays a vital part in our life. Moreover,
knowing English enables us to gain more opportunities to get a good job with a
high salary.
C: When do you usually use English?
I am a Vietnamese student so I don’t usually use English. I only use English in
English class or when I travelI go travel abroad. I am really keen on traveling
abroad; therefore, this is the reason why I learn English in order to I can
communicate with the local people easily and learn more about their culture.

Dear Madam,
My name is Pham Thi Thanh and I have been a member of the English club
since 2020. I am writing this email to express my feelings and my
suggestions regarding the problem of the club.
According to the email I have just received, nowadays more and more new
words and phrases are added to the language, so many people have a strong
reaction to this issue. Some people gladly accept and others argue that there
should be rules for language. To be honest, I cannot tell you how confused I
am about this news. I am a young person, this is the reason why I am quite
open-minded on this issue.
From my perspective, I think the goal of the community is that we can talk
to each other easily and understand what the partner says. Furthermore, it
also allows our language to become more and more abundant. Besides, I
think the gap generation makes this issue difficult to solve; therefore, I
would be grateful if we could help them know and accept this problem by
telling them about the benefits of adding some new words or phrases to the
language.

place suitable for a meeting. Moreover, I think the meeting should talk about
the topic “How to learn English easily” since I find it quite difficult to learn
English. Besides, I strongly recommend that you should hold this meeting
on the weekend; therefore, members of the club could arrange their
timetable to take part in this meeting.
