Why do you like science?
I am really keen on studying science. Science provides for me with a huge and useful
knowledge about our world. I usually watch science videos to learn and explore more
exciting things about our surroundings world.
Task 3: You are in a club chat room with 3 members of the club. You will answer and
exchange some opinions with those 3 people. Write answers in sentences of about 30 –
40 words.
Person A: Why did you decide to join our Science Club? How often can you go to the
club?
There are some reasons that promote me to take part in Science Club. Firstly, I love
discovering amazing things in my life. Secondly, Science helps me expand my
intellectuality about the outside world. Moreover, I would like to share and make
friends with other people who have the same interests as me. I can spend my free time
on weekend joining the club. In particular, I can go to club from 2 pm to 5 pm on
Sunday.
Person B: In the past, you learnt about Science in school. Do you remember
something about Science?
I have leant about science since I was grade 4 in primary school. Thanks to the science
knowledge, I can apply a lot of useful information in my daily life. The knowledge
from Math, Physics, Chemistry is crucial in our life.
Person C: Who is your favorite inventor or scientist? Why?
Thomas Edison is one the most famous and influential inventors of all time. He had
contributed many useful inventions for science. He invented the electric light that play
an important role in the development of mankind.
Task 4: You have received an email from the Science Club about the club exhibition
next month.
“Dear all members in our club, our club is preparing to organize the science
exhibition next month. Both young people and elderly people can take part in our
activities in the exhibition. Could you contribute some ideas for our event team?
Whether our club issues tickets for participants? I would like to hear your
contribution.”

received an email from my science club. Our club is preparing to organize the science
exhibition next month. Both young people and elderly people can take part in our

I have expected that exhibition for a long time. I have some opinion to contribute to

Dear Ms. Jenny,
My name is Tram Anh. I have been a member of the club since 2023. I am writing
this email to express my feeling and contribute my recommendations about our
exhibition next month.
According to the email that I have received, our club is preparing to organise the
science exhibition next month. Both young people and elderly people can take part in
our activities in the exhibition. That was a great news. To be honest, I was so excited
when I heard about that wonderful notice because I expected the science exhibition
for a long time.
To prepare well for our coming exhibition, might I give you some recommendations?
The first one is occurring location. We can rent a Ha Noi museum to display our
science collection and hold our activities. The second suggestion is event time.
Sunday is the best convenient time for participants. The next ideas (IDEA) is about
entrance fee. We should call for donation instead of issuing the ticket for participants.
Besides, the club should post information about our event on facebook, instagram,
and so on in order to attract more partakers.
