worldwideissue.Thisissueisamajorprobleminthemiddle
easterncountriesbutisalsobeingmadeahugeproblem
aroundtheworld.
AsastudentofEnglish,myintentionsaretoimprovemy
writingandreadingcomprehensionskillsbyresearchingand
puttingmyinformationinorderforthisSchoolBased
Assessment(SBA).Mywayofcollectinginformationformy
SBAisbyreadingthrougharticlesontheinternetandon
someofthelocalnewspapersprovidinginformationabout

howpeopleincountriesthatdon’thaveahugeterrorism
problemshasitverymucheasierthanthoseotherswitha
terroristissuebecausewhiletheyaredoingdailythingsthereare
terroristsattackswhichdoesn’tallowthemtoliveasnormalas
thoseothersbecausetheyarealwayshaven’ttobracethemselves
havingtothinkaboutwhatisgoingtohappenwhentheygo
hereorthere.
Thesecondartifactisasongentitled‘NOREVENGE’by
OOD.Inthesongheistryingtotellusthatrevengeiscausinga
lotofunnecessarydeaths,alsosayingthatdesperationisthe
reasonforcommittingcrimes.Heistryingtospreadamessage
tousbytellingusthatforustohavepeaceamongourselves
revengekillingshouldstop.
Thethirdartifactisanarticleentitled‘FIGHTING
TERRORISM’itcontainsinformatinaboutwhentheterrorsim
startedetc.Placeswhereattacksfrequentlyhappenalsoare
mentionedinthearticle.Itisalsospeakingabouthowtheymay
preventterrorismandlessenthehatecrimesamongcitizens.

Thelanguagestrategyutilizedinthepoem"Voice"was
repetition."Solet'srush,let'srun,let'sgetorganized,let'sfinish,
let'sdoasmuchaswecan,"isanexampleofthistechnique.The
writeralsousedtheterm“while”severaltimestoemphasizehow
frequentlyterroriststrikesoccur.Theauthor’sintentionsinthis
artifactweretostructurethepoeminsuchawaythatthe
intentionsofterroristattackingarenotofconcern.
Inthesong “NoRevenge”byOodthesingertalksabout

orevengeisthe solutionforpeaceonearth.Thelanguage
techniqueusedinthissongwasanAllegory.Anexampleofthis

OncompletingthisEnglishSBAthelanguageusedwas
formalanditwaswritteninsuchawaythatitiseasily
understood.Thiswasveryhelpfulformebecauseitmademe
understandmoreaboutterrorism.Throughoutthecompletionof
thisSBA,I’velearntthevalueofteamworkandhowtowork
togethertoaccomplishourgoalsasagroup.IndoingthisI
realizedthatitmakeslifewayeasierbyhelpingeachotheroutin
areaswherewedon'tunderstand.ThisSBAalsobenefitedme
mentallyitshowedmetonevergiveupafterfailure,buttowork
harderandtheresultswouldimprovestepbystepuntilsuccess.

couldrelatetoeachoneoftheminsomewayorform.

amhappywiththepiecesIhavegatheredandIhavebeenhappy
workinginagroup.Ilearntthathumantraffickingisa
seriouscrimethatshouldbetakenmoreseriouslyandhowthe
processesofithappen.
