Relevant identified uses
Emergency number : The emergency telephone number in France is the ORFILA number (INRS): + 33 (0)1 45 42
59 59. This number provides contact information for all French Poison Control Centers. These
poison control and toxicovigilance centers provide free medical assistance (excluding call
costs), 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. For the emergency telephone number in your
country, please contact the relevant local authorities and consult the ECHA (European
Chemicals Agency) website: http://echa.europa.eu/help/nationalhelp_contact_en.asp

3.2. Mixtures
Not Applicable
General first aid : In the event of fainting, consult a doctor (show them the ATA100 equipment sheet if possible).
In the event of fainting inside the aircraft: follow the procedure set out by the airline.
First aid after inhalation : For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No first aid
measure required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen
capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
If the event occurs on the ground: Remove the defective hood. Remove the person to the
outside and keep in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a doctor/poison control center
in the event of fainting.
Using on aircraft: Go to an area of the cabin where there is no risk of fire/fumes if possible,
remove the defective hood. Follow the procedure provided for by the airline.
First aid after contact with skin : For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No first aid
measure required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen
capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
Remove impregnated clothing and thoroughly wash skin with soap and water or use a suitable
cleaning product. Ensure no product remains between skin and clothing, watches, shoes, etc.
When the contaminated area is extensive and/or if skin lesions appear, seek medical advice
or transfer to the hospital.
First aid after eye contact : For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No first aid
measure required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen
capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
Wash thoroughly with fresh and clean water for 15 minutes keeping the eyelids apart. Urgently
refer the subject to an ophthalmologist (as soon as possible in case the event occurs in flight).
First aid after ingestion : For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No first aid
measure required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen
capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
Unlikely route of exposure. But if swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a POISON
CENTER/doctor.
Using on aircraft: follow the set procedure.
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, NO HAZARD IS EXPECTED.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges),
the information below is provided by the MANUFACTURERS of the components:
The item contains two distinct components (not mixed):
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
No data available.
Hazardous combustion products The item is complex. In case of fire different combustion products (from the various elements)
may be released. Inhalation of combustion products is hazardous to health.
Fire protection : Do not enter or remain in the hazardous area without chemical protective clothing and without
self-contained breathing apparatus.
Cool exposed containers with water sprayed from a protected area. Do not allow the water
used in emergency situations to drain into the gutters.
Use sprayed water or mist to keep fumes close to the ground if possible. Remove containers
from the fire zone, if safe to do so.
Other information : Cool packages exposed to heat or flames with sprayed water. Avoid the release of fire flow
into sewers. In confined spaces use self-contained breathing apparatus. Protective clothing
and self-contained breathing equipment for firefighters. Standard EN 137 - Self-contained
compressed air unit in open circuit with a full face mask. Standard EN 469: firefighter
protective clothing. Standard EN 659: Firefighter protective gloves.
Using on aircraft: : In the event of fire, for commercial air crews, wearing hood 15-40F-80 respiratory protective
equipment is mandatory.
Follow the procedure provided for by the airline.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
• Allow oxygen capacity to flow into a ventilated area if • Prevent entry into waste water or streams; if this occurs,
possible. inform the competent authorities.
• Remove sources of ignition. • Avoid inhaling dust.
• Ensure appropriate ventilation of air, if possible. • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Prevent the product from entering sewers, subsoils, ditches, • If large quantities are spilled, have personnel evacuated only
or any other place where its accumulation may be dangerous. by trained operators wearing protective equipment.
• Follow the local emergency plan.
• Stay upstream of the wind.
• Allow oxygen capacity to flow into a ventilated area if • Avoid discharge into natural waters, sewage or soil. Do not
possible. drain to surface water or sewers. Notify local authorities if
significant leaks cannot be contained. Avoid release to the
environment.
• Ventilate the zone. • In the event of a spill, collect mechanically (for example by
sweeping or aspiration) into hermetically sealed containers.
Comply with personal protective measures. Rinse the
remainder thoroughly with water. Label the container and
dispose of the contents in the prescribed manner.
This item should only handled by trained personnel. For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected.
The duration of use of the equipment is limited to 15 minutes from pallet tipping, see user manual.
The shelf-life of the equipment is 10 years from the date of manufacture indicated on its box.
Eye protection:
For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No protection required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
Goggles with side protection (compliant with EN 166).
For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No protection required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges):
Provide skin protection adapted to the conditions of use. Wear appropriate protective clothing.
Hand protection:
For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No protection required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen capacity and/or to the soda lime cartridges): Due to the
multitude of exposure conditions, the user must consider the actual duration of use of a chemical protection glove as much less than the
breakthrough time. Strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, especially the minimum thickness and minimum breakthrough time. This
information shall not replace the compliance tests carried out by the end user. The protection provided by the glove depends on the conditions of
use of the substance/mixture. Use chemical resistant gloves as a minimum (compliant with EN 374). The use of this product means that the type
of material and the thickness of the gloves, as well as the time to rupture of the glove material can only be chosen after an in-depth study of the
workstation, which must lead to a clear definition of the conditions of use and the most precise evaluation possible. The choice of gloves should
therefore be made with the advice of the manufacturer of personal protective equipment.
Respiratory protection:
For normal and reasonably foreseeable use, no hazard is expected. No protection required.
In the event of an accident involving deterioration of the item (if damage to the oxygen cylinder and/or to the soda lime cartridges): In case of
insufficient ventilation, wear appropriate respiratory apparatus. The mask standard must be determined based on the risk assessment.
