1 SURGICAL WARDS
This refer to the place or department where patient are care for and treated
before or aftersurgery [Link] surgery can be done for variety of reasons
which includes; correction,treatment, studying and diagnosis
WOUND. CARE
This refers to the department in the hospital dealing with removing of dead
tissue, cleaning thewound, providing a protective environment due to disruption
of structural and functionalintegrity of tissue. Wound management is the
treatment of wound by providing appropriateenvironment for healing by direct
or indirect method together with the prevention of skinbreakdown
NATURAL MEDICINE FOR WOUND MANAGEMENT
a. NATURAL CABBAGE �FOR SEPTIC WOUND

- Debridement:it helps to reduce the death tissue or waste from the wound which

There are three main types of echographies to be done through out the
pregnancy which are asfollows

uses soundswaves to create a picture of the baby development in mother's womb
Diagnostic U S. This is the second echography which is best use to know about
theconditions that involves soft tissues such as vessels organs [Link] my also
be use if youhave some signs and symptoms of problem and it helps to diagnose
or role out the course
U S guidance for procedure. This is a special check up that uses ultrasound
imaging toaccess the health of baby and provide treatment if needed
PALPATION ROOM
The following activities are done in palpation room
* Breast examination
*Feutal heart beat rate
*The length of child growth
*Eye color
Hb LEVEL CONTROL
Since the mother share her blood with the child,it is very essential to check and
control her Hblevel every month to make sure that it is at the right propossion
(around 12). When it happens tobe around 10 both the mother and her child are
at risk
MEDICAL WARD
This is the department in the hospital dealing with different kind of diseases and
infection. Thefollowing activities are more consider in the section.
*Patient care
Nurses provide care for patients, including taking vital signs, performing
physical exams andadministering medication. They also educate patient on how
to manage their conditions andprovide emotional support.
* Care planning
Nurses identify patient need through health assessment and formulate care plan.
*Record keeping
Nurses maintain accurate and details record of patient information including
symptoms,reactions and progress.
* Communication
Nurses communicate with other health care providers, family and the care

CHAPTER THREE (case study)
A CAECAREAN SECTION PATIENT
This refer to a woman who delivers via operation leaving the wound [Link]
patient wasnormally injected with spinal anesthesia lidocaine to stop the
[Link] doctor to the procedureon till the surgery was over
The pain reliever such as opioids administer via IV then I apply antibiotics or
antiseptic toprevent infections and to promote the proper healing .I then cover it
with guaze and hold it withplaster and allow it for one week
Then I visit my patient again for dressing.I observe and examine the wound and
I do thepartial remove of stitches. I then clean it with hydrogen peroxide,NS ,
and betadine plastering itgiving the appointment of after TWO to THREE days
After the first, second, and the third appointment when the stitches were
completely cut off,Ithen do the last dressing encouraging the patient to get back
with betadine and [Link] she takes bath she should use the guaze with
betadine and clean the place of wound. Mypatient is healed.
