MRI OF THE LUMBOSACRAL SPINE (without contrast)

Findings:

Degenerative changes including osteophyte formation and disc space narrowing is


noted .
Grade II anterolisthesis at the L5-S1 level causing central disc protrusion
and pseudo herniation of L5-S1 disc.
Central disc protrusion at the L2-L3, L3-L4, L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels causing thecal
sac compression.
Normal appearance of the distal spinal cord and conus medullaris.
Normal caliber of the filum terminale with no cord tethering.
No lipomas or masses could be noted along the examined spinal canal.
Normal bone marrow signals on the vertebral bodies with intact cortical outlines around the
preserved heights and normal configuration.
Normal apophyseal articulation and sacro-iliac joints.
Normal para-vertebral soft tissue structures and muscles.
