Maam Rovelyn: Ladies and gentlemen, good morning!

It gives us
immense pleasure to welcome you all to the 1 st and 2nd convocation
ceremony of Pungtod National High School.

Maam Catrena: The Convocation day is, after all, much-awaited day of
any student’s life as it returns the effort of their entire academic
endeavor.

Maam Rovelyn: And it is steeped with a sense of achievement and

fulfillment. And most importantly, it makes them work harder to build a
successful career ahead.

Both: Thus, we will give our 100% to make it more memorable for you
guys out there.

Maam Rovelyn: To commence this auspicious event, I’d like to request

everyone to stand for the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted
by Mrs. Eivie Ribo, PNHS MAPEH Coordinator.

Maam Catrena: Please do remain standing for the opening prayer and
Sugbo Hymn via multimedia.

Maam Roveyn: Please be seated. To affirm the significance of this

event, let us welcome Mr. Ransom M.
Garcia, Pungtod National High School Guidance Designate/ for the
welcome address.

Maam Catrena: Let’s quote the words of Benjamin Franklin, “An

investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

Maam Rovelyn: Some of our students invested in learning. Thus today,

we will recognize our students who excels academically.
Maam Catrena: Academic excellence awardees…

Maam Rovelyn: May I call on the advisers from Grade 7-Everlasting to

Grade 12- Benevolence for the awarding.

Maam Catrena: May I request __________________________ to hand

in the certificates.
Maam Catrena: To all the academic excellence awardees, our
warmest felicitations.

Maam Rovelyn: Power isn’t control at all. Power is strength and giving
the strength to others. A leader isn’t someone who forces others to
make him stronger, a leader is someone willing to give his strength to
others that they may have the strength to stand on their own.

Maam Catrena: This morning, we shall also witness the oath-taking

ceremony of Parents and Teachers Association here in our school.

Maam Rovelyn: I’d like to request the BOD’s to please come forward.

Maam Catrena: I’d also like to request Mrs. Juditha C. Serencio to lead
the induction ceremony.

Maam Rovelyn: Now we’ve come to the conclusion of our program.

Maam Catrena: To formally close our program, I’d like to call on Mrs.
Georgita R. Mendoza for the closing prayer.

Maam Rovelyn: Thank you everyone for coming here today. Before
you’ll proceed to the respective classrooms of your children, we’d like
to leave you this adage.
Maam Catrena: The adventure of life is to learn.

Maam Rovelyn: The purpose of life is to grow.

Both: And the beauty of life is to give.

Maam Rovelyn: This has been your hosts, I am Rovelyn G. Tano

Maam Catrena: and I am Catrena Y. Linawan

Both: Good morning and congratulations once again.
