With reference to your application and subsequent interviews we are delighted to offer you the
position of ___________________at Dayal Group, an FMCG company, effective from. We believe
that your qualification and experience make you an excellent fit for our team and we are excited to
have you on board.

1 Appointment and Reporting

• You are required to join on or before _____________. Terms and condition of your
appointment shall be effective from your date of joining. You will initially report to
____________ and ______________Your reporting is subjected to change at the discretion
of the company.

2 Emoluments
• Your total cost to Company (TCTC) includes a variable pay component and will be as per
details provided in Annexure –A.

3 Office Timing

• As a member of our team, you will be expected to work from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. with one-
hour lunch break of half hour .This Office timing policy is strictly enforced for all
employees and any deviation from the policy must be pre approved by your
supervisor/hr/manager.
• Additionally, it is expected that all employees arrive at work on time(9:00-9:30AM) and
ready to begin their duties at 9:30 AM. Any tardiness or absenteeism will be addressed in
accordance with our company policies and procedures.
• You are also informed that if you are coming late to office more than 5 days (1 weeks) of
more than 10 -15 minutes, it will be considered as half day leave, and this leave will be cut
from your leaves. If you are unable to come on time you have to get approval from your
supervisor director and HR before.

4 Probationary Period

• During your Probationary Period of [3 month], you will be required to show your
performance and attitudes towards your work. Once the probationary period is
successfully completed, your appointment will be confirmed.
• Please note that company benefits will be available after 6 months of your joining as per
Annexure- A. The 6 months provision period is given to ensure your smooth integration
into the company’s policies, procedures, and culture.

5 Termination

• Your service may be terminated at any time by either party giving one month notice or
salary in lieu of notice. Dismissal due to misconduct in which case the matter will be dealt
on the of severity of offence.
• Upon termination of your employment, you shall immediately return all company
belongings and hand over the charge as directed by company management. If the notice
period is not fulfilled or the belongings are not hand over, the settlement will be put on
hold.

6 Initial Posting and charges

• Your Initial place for posting shall be______________________.

7 General employment obligations

• During your employment with the company, you shall not be engaged, concerned or
interested
Directly or indirectly in any other occupation, business or employment and shall devote
your whole time exclusively to the performance of your duties.
• You shall govern by the service rules and regulation of the company as amended by the
Management from time to time including code of conduct.

8 Confidentiality

• You are expected to behave in utmost responsible manner with respect to the affairs of the
company and are prohibited from discussing / divulging any material facts. Confidential
matters or secrets to outsiders in any manner considered prejudicial to the interested of the
company.
9 Leaves and other service benefits

• You shall be entitled for 24 days annual paid leave every year and monthly 2 days paid
leave. If the leave is more than 2 days monthly then it will be deducted. Unused leaves will
be carried forward to the next months. All Leave must be approved by your reporting
manager on mail before availing leave.
• In case of emergency or unplanned leave, you must inform your supervisor/HR
immediately and provide the necessary documentation upon return.

10 Contract Period

• Employment contract for your position is for a duration of minimum 2 years. In the event
of resignation, it is mandatory to provide a notice period of 1 month.
• Be advised that failure to adhere to the stipulated contract period and notice period will
result in the issuance of an objection letter. This letter will outline the necessary steps to
be taken after resignation and will be sent upon non-compliance.
• Furthermore, clearance procedures will not be initiated until all responsibilities are
properly handed over. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a
smooth transition process.

11 Governing law and Jurisdiction

• Appointment letter shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the law of Nepal.
• All Jurisdiction of court shall be in Kathmandu.
