Language Processes or Products: Students will demonstrate the ability to listen to and
understand a narrative story in English, as well as communicate their understanding of
the story through spoken language. They will be able to answer questions about the
story and engage in a discussion about its key elements.

ELA B.E.S.T. Standard: LAFS.2.RL.1.2 - Recount stories, including fables and folktales
from diverse cultures, and determine their central message, lesson, or moral.
