Experiment 8 Introduction to SIMULINK

Objectives

To explore the use of SIMULINK in the Simulation of Control Systems.

Note:- Students are advised to follow the SIMULINK TUTORIAL given in the textbook.

The lab instructor will distribute a list of various systems in the lab. Students are
advised to simulate these systems in the lab.

Procedure
 Students are advised to follow the SIMULINK TUTORIAL given in the textbook.

 Build a SIMULINK model for the system you are told in the lab.

 Explore the effect of change in system parameters, controller gain and the input signal.
Sketch the SIMULINK model and record the input and output of the system along
with the system parameters in each case.

It is necessary to complete the logbook in the lab and show it to the instructor at the
end of this experiment.
