I. IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: Values Education Program
II. RATIONALE/DESCRIPTION
Pursuant to the Division Memorandum No.590, s. 2021 the submission of
Values Education Project Proposal for SY 2022-2023 which is aligned with the
Project U-Smart a Division initiative program.
In view of this MALIWANAG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL proposed this
project and convinced that the journey of a learners as he pursues his dream is
tough. Along the way, there are rough roads that would challenge his moral and
academic codes. As they interact with their environment, they are confronted with
situations that break these codes. These unfavorable situations would impair their
moral judgment and as a result, they would most likely engage in actions that are
not in accordance with the moral norms like gambling, drug-use, premarital sex,
bullying, drinking alcohol, cheating in school, and others. Engaging such activities
is detrimental to their academic success and needs to be addressed immediately.
Thus, the U-SMART Project is initiated.
III. OBJECTIVES
a. help learners become committed to building a just and humane society by
promoting the development of values of an individual.
b. improve competence in values and in other learning areas to become
individuals who are responsive to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
of others

1. Trained teachers on the implementation of Values Restoration Program
2. Parents participated in all school activities/projects/programs.
3. Oriented Grade 6 learners on the effect of Joining Gangs/Fraternities in school.
4. Awareness of God words.
5. Values Education/Guidance Program/activities will be carried out effectively.
