1. Lisa was stuck by gender biases which was even more enriched by her silence and over-patient
attitude
2. They should have not looked at her gender but on her performance
3. Lisa might have become a partner if she was in the right firm with the right organizational
culture
4. There are 2 approaches to this
A- Punishment: which will basically trigger fear of losing jobs and would maintain Lisa and Pamela’s
rights
B- Raising awareness and offering challenges: by raising awareness that a woman is surpassing
their number as gender discrimination is a bad thing now it is turned into a challenge of that
person trying to win vs Lisa will teach him that genders are equal and benefit the firm at the
same time by two good employees competing
