The main reselling platform at the moment is Vinted and the opportunities to make
money off of reselling is unbelievable. Some of you guys have been able to successfully
sell your items on vinted but with some of you luck has not been on your side. Vinteds
checks are increasingly getting more strict so this guide will teach you guys how to
bypass it and be able to sell your items on vinted with no hassle whatsoever.
1. Have an aged account
When starting off to sell on vinted what you should not do is list a rep item as your first
item of choice. What you need to do is list a genuine item up first. For example, any
items around your house can be used to do this. You need to show Vinted you are a legit
person who offers genuine items as the rise of reps and scammers is getting out of hand
so they remove any "suspicious" accounts. You can also ask any friends or family if they
have a vinted account you could use. The more reviews and the age of the account
means vinted will less likely take down your listing. I will provide screenshots below of
this working for myself and several other members. Not only that but reviews are
extremely important. An account with no reviews sways customers away as they may
think they will get scammed. You need to make sure you have reviews and have a
sensible profile picture and username.
One last thing, ever since Vinted have gotten stricter restrictions it means more
accounts are getting banned. Many of you guys ask what to do if your Vinted account
gets banned and the solution is very easy. You will have to make a new Vinted account
with different details such as using a different phone number. This is achievable by
using a family or friends phone number but if you are unable to do this we will be
introducing an SMS bot so you guys can buy an automated phone number for extremely
cheap prices. This is a great way to maximise your efficiency and make as many vinted
accounts as you want and this could also lead onto a side hustle for some of you
actually selling aged vinted accounts with reviews etc!
2. Good Quality Photos
A mistake a lot of you guys make is the quality of the photos provided in your listing.
This is the main factor of selling a product because if the product does not look good
why would customers feel enticed to buy it? Whether it's selling new or used items,
taking photos is the biggest factor in being able to sell your items. First of all you want
a good background for your photo. You need to make sure it is clean and compliments
the photo well. For example, you can use any rooms in your house with nice flooring
such as the living room, kitchen or even your bedroom. You need to make sure you have
space and the product is shown properly. Secondly, you need to make sure your camera
quality is good and the pictures you take are not blurry or not appealing. Make sure to
take time when taking photos and make sure your camera settings are correct. I would
advise it to hold your phone still or even better invest into a stand/tripod which will
make your work much easier. I will provide some pictures of what and what not to do.
Lastly you need to make sure you are including the right variety of pictures suitable for
your listing. For example, with a football shirt you are going to make sure the front and
the back of the kit is shown. All the different logos and labels are shown too to display
the characteristics of the shirt you are selling. This means less questions from the buyer
as whatever they need is displayed right in front of their eyes.

3. Good Description
A good description is key within your listing as it tells the customer what they are going
to get. Not only that but the description is very useful in getting your products seen by
more individuals. The reason for this is because of the key words you can include in your
listing. For example, let's talk about a football shirt I sold a couple months ago. In the
description I made sure to include the brand, the colours, the team, the size etc. This
covers all the factors and means if an individual wanted to just search up a football shirt
they are able to see my listing or if they wanted to see a pink shirt they would see mine
meaning broader searches are able to see my listings. Also having a good description
means customers will not be able to complain as everything is included in your
description and this means they are less likely to ask any questions and buy the product
itself.

A lot of you guys buy many products off of us which we genuinely appreciate. We
always try to offer the cheapest products in the game so you guys can maximise profits
on the items you sell. With all the tips we have given you in this guide reselling on
Vinted should be much easier then before especially if you take these tips onboard.

Communication between your buyer and yourself is very important. You should always
try to answer any questions and inquiries they want to know. At the end of the day your
main goal is to satisfy the customer. You should always offer same or next day delivery
meaning you will ship it off as quick as possible meaning the customer will have to wait
less amount of time. This shows the customer that you are a good seller and care about
your customers. Ultimately, this will lead to customers being satisfied and leaving a
review on your Vinted profile showing other potential customers that you are a
trustworthy seller. Last but not least when you are packaging your item make sure the
packaging is suitable. I have seen many people ship off items in crisp packets and drink
bottles which is absolutely stupid. At least try to show some professionalism and ship
your items suitably such as in them plastic shipping bags which are extremely cheap
and you can find them on Amazon, eBay or TikTok Shop.
