SIMPLE PAST

O Simple Past é o tempo verbal que vamos usar para falar sobre ações que já aconteceram, ou seja, que começaram e
terminaram no passado.

Para usar os verbos regulares no passado, nós


vamos mudar o final do verbos seguindos as
ordens abaixo.

Final em "E" = D

Final em "Consoante + Y" = Y IED


SIMPLE PAST

Final em "Vogal + Y" = ED

Final em "Consoante + Vogal + Consoante" = Última Consoante

É bem simples formar frases na forma afirmativa, vamos ver!

Estrutura:

Sujeito + verbo no passado +complemento

Exemplo:

She + liked + the English teacher.

Usando o Simple Past você pode contar o que


você fez, sentiu ou até mesmo pensou. Mas
lembra que tem que ser algo que começou e
terminou no passado.

Negative Form

Para deixar a frase negativa, vamos usar o verbo auxiliar "do" no passado e adicionar o "not".

Sujeito + did + not + verbo principal + complemento.

Exemplo:

She + did + not + like + the Math teacher.

Como o verbo auxiliar "did" está no passado, o


verbo principal deve estar no presente.

century. His best known work was “Backlands, the Canudos Campaign” (1902), a report on the
