Representation of students in the governing boards of the university

One of the primary avenues for student representation is through the Student Council, which serves as a
platform for students to express their views, concerns, and suggestions on matters related to academic
policies, campus life, and student welfare. The Student Council comprises elected representatives from
different faculties and departments, who are tasked with advocating for the interests of their fellow students
and providing feedback to the university administration.

Through active involvement in university governance, student representatives develop leadership skills, critical
thinking abilities, and a deeper understanding of institutional dynamics. We recognize the valuable
contributions that student leaders make to our university community and are committed to providing them
with the support and resources they need to succeed in their roles.

Partnerships for the Goals Every person, in every country on every continent, is affected by climate change in some
way. A climate cataclysm is looming, and we are unprepared for what it might mean.
Climate change is caused by human activities and threatens life on earth as we know it. As
greenhouse gas emissions increase, climate change is happening faster than expected. Its
impacts can be catastrophic and include extreme and changing weather patterns and
rising sea levels. If left unchecked, climate change will undo much of the progress made in
recent years. It also triggers mass migrations that lead to instability and wars.
