I have been directed to refer to the above subject and to say that
the State Election Commission, Haryana vide Notification No'

SEC/2ME/202412033 and No. SEC/2MEI202412035 dated 30.12.2024 (copy

enclosed) has issued programme for the preparation of photo based wardwise
electoral rolls of the Municipal Corporation, Karnal, Yamuna Nagar and
Municipal Council, Sohna (Gurugram). As per programme, the draft electoral
rolls shall be published on 07 .01.2025 and the claims and objections shall be
received by the revising authority concerned by 13.01.2025. The final
publication of electoral rolls shall be done on 28.01 .2025.
2. I have been further directed to request you that the
officers/officials involved in the preparation of electoral rolls of these Municipal
Corporations/ Council may not be transferred till the final publication of
electoral rolls. ln such cases, where it is considered absolutely necessary to
transfer any officers/officials connected with the preparation of electoral rolls of
these municipalities, then approval of the State Election Commission may be
obtained. lnstructions in this regard may kindly be issued under intimation to
the Commission.
