TENANCY AGREEMENT
This Tenancy Agreement is made this……..….. day of……………………………. 2024, between:
Landlord: ( ] (hereinafter
referred to as 'the Landlord").
Tenant: [ ] (hereinafter
referred to as "the Tenant")
The Landlord hereby lets to the Tenant the property located at Wiamoase for a period of 30
months, commencing on ……………………………….… and ending on …………………………………. The total
rent for the premises is Three Thousand Six Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 3600), payable in
advance, at a monthly rate of One Hundred and Twenty Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 120). The Tenant
confirms having paid the total rent amount of GH₵ 3600 to the Landlord before the
commencement of this tenancy.
I do here by agree to the following rules and regulations below aimed at ensuring that all
properties are protected; tenant(s) stay in a comfortable and conducive environment for healthy
living and to maintain discipline amongst all.
1. Tenants should close all taps and switch off all electrical appliances that are not in use when
leaving the room.
2. A tenant is responsible for the safety of his/her life and all personal valuables. Therefore,
staying late outside, leaving doors and windows ajar, and an unnecessary display of wealth
is prohibited.
3. All properties and fixtures in the room allotted to the tenant must be cared for properly as
damages as a result of misuse, carelessness, mishandling, and negligence will require
replacement.
4. No one should attempt to cook or heat water in the room either with electricity, gas cooker
or coal pot. All cooking should be done at the corridors, yard and other approved places.
5. Tenants will share and pay for electricity and water bills monthly. High voltage electrical
appliances will attract two points except otherwise agreed by other persons who uses the
same metre.
6. The compound of the house should be kept clean at all times both inside and outside.
Students must however make a group effort to do a general cleaning of the house once
every month.
7. Unnecessary noise, stealing, Noisy worship, loud music, fighting, and any gathering that
disturbs the peace of the house are prohibited.
