Section 5: Enhancements and Other Changes

This section describes the enhancements and other changes made to the CBORD Hub since the last
production release, v23.03.0100.
Important! All the changes for this version can be communicated only to CBORD personnel. There is no
external, customer-facing version of the Release Notes.

5.1 Improved process for assigning subscriptions to organizations

The Subscription Details page now includes a Select Organizations button. Clicking this button
opens the Make Available To window, which lets a CBORD or Organization Administrator assign the
subscription to the current org and any descendants.
The Select Organizations button only appears for subscriptions with a License Type of Selected.

5.2 Support separate revocation and expiration dates for subscriptions

The Hub and License API now support setting the expiration date and revocation dates for a
subscription separately. Previously, the UserLicenses table included only one column
(RevocationDate) that was used to store either the subscription’s expiration (activation date + 1
year) or the date on which it was revoked. We have added a new column, ExpirationDate, to this
table.
When 23.04.0100 is released, CBORD will run a script to resolve existing issues:
• Set ExpirationDate to the current value of the RevocationDate.
• Set all RevocationDate values to null.

5.3 Fixed misleading system message regarding SSO logins

When an existing Hub user is updated to use SSO, a revised system message appears, stating that the
user can login using either SSO or “direct,” with the original Hub credentials.
Previously, the system message stated that the user could no longer log in with the direct credentials,
which was not true.

5.4 Improved date range filtering on the Administration — Subscriptions page

The Administration — Subscriptions page now accurately capture subscriptions that meet the
selected Date Range and Status values.
Previously, the page would not list all the subscriptions with an Activation Date or Deactivation Date
in the selected date range.

5.5 Analytics Authors identified on the Administration — Products — Analytics page

The Administration — Products — Analytics page now correctly displays the names of users assigned
to the Author role.
Previously, this page would be blank, even though the Author role had been assigned and the user(s)
with that role could perform all the functions associated with it.

5.6 Organization Administrators can now change the password for users
The Change Password button now appears on the User Details page when accessed by an
Organization Administrator. This option is only available when the user account does not include an
email address.
Previously, only CBORD Administrators could change passwords for other users.

5.7 Prevent transfer of a subscription to users already assigned to it

The Hub no longer shows users already assigned to a subscription as potential recipients when
transferring that subscription.
Previously, all users in an organization were listed as possible “receivers” of a transferred
subscription, even if they had already been assigned to that same subscription.

5.8 Analytics data made more secure

Additional safeguards have been added to ensure that Analytics data is presented only to authorized
users.
