TOPIC 1: Talk about how electronic devices help in learning English.

SAMPLE ANSWER:
Along with the development of science and technology, many new electronic devices have been invented
to meet many demands of human. Learning English has become easier and more convenient thanks to the
assistance of electronic devices like computers, laptops, iPads and smartphones. Electronic devices with
Internet connection bring about a huge source of information learners can exploit for the purpose of
learning English. Instead of buying a bookshelf of document which is costly and takes a lot of space,
leamers can search for resourceful grammar knowledge online or download English grammar eBooks.
Looking up new words using online dictionary with sample pronunciation will be much faster, more
precise and convenient than a traditional paper dictionary. Moreover, online dictionaries are corrected and
updated faster and more regularly, so the content is reliable. In summary, electronic devices make learning
English much easier, and I will try to exploit all their potentials to learn English more effectivel.

TOPIC 2: Talk about the benefits young Vietnamese people have gained since Viet Nam joined different
international organisations.
SAMPLE ANSWER:
Young Vietnamese people have gained three main benefits of Viet Nam becoming a member of different
international organisations.
First, they get better health care now. UNICEF, for example, has a lot of programmes to make sure all
children get vaccinated to avoid some diseases. Second, the quality in education has also improved. Now
Viet Nam has a lot of education programmes which are as good as regional and international ones. This
gives teenagers opportunities to get access to advanced knowledge or exchange education programmes in
other countries. Finally, various career choices are also open to teenagers these days. They are no longer
limited to only state-owned organisations or family-owned businesses. Instead, they may choose to work
for global, local or private companies, depending on their abilities and preferences. In short, international
organisations have definitely brought more advantages to young people in Viet Nam.

TOPIC 3: Talk about the situation of water resource and how to preserve
water environment in Vietnam.
You can answer the following questions as cues:
* How is the situation of water resource?
* How to preserve it in Vietnam?
SAMPLE ANSWER:
Our water environment has been polluted and degraded seriously. Since water is essential for life, it's a
serious and urgent problem that requires immediate measures to preserve it. The first thing we can do right
now is to save water. It is essential to save water we have when many places have no water to use.
Secondly. authorities must have measures controlling waste, and make sure that wastes must be treated
before discharging into the environment. Thirdly, replace plastic things and nylon bag with
environmentally friendly ones. Finally, climate change makes the weather drier, many places have no rain
for a long time. We can control it by limiting the amount of greenhouse gases released into the air. Doing
so may help US preserve water environment for the living activities today and in the future.

TOPIC 4: Talk about noise pollution.


You can answer the following questions as cues:
• What are the causes of noise pollution?
• What are its consequences?
SAMPLE ANSWER:
Though we cannot see or smell noise pollution, it is still available and affects our environment.
Noise pollution happens when noise from human's activities reaches the harmful limit. Studies have shown
that there are direct connections between noise and health including diseases like stress, high blood
pressure, language disorder and hearing loss. Noise pollution is believed to have caused thousands of death
a year by increasing the rate of coronary heart disease. Underwater noise pollution caused by ships has
bad effects on whale's navigation system and kills other species depending on natural water
environment. Wild species have to communicate with louder voice which is believed to have shortened
their lifespan. It's high time to have laws on controlling noise pollution so that we can have a better and
quieter living environment for all including human.

Topic 5: Talk about measures to improve gender equality in Viet Nam.


You can answer some of the following questions:
* What are the measures to improve gender equality?
* What are the benefits of these measures?
SAMPLE:
Gender equality is a crucial issue which has been paid attention to by many countries in the world
including Viet Nam. In my opinion, there are some of the following ways to improve gender equality and
give women better chances to develop their ability, Firstly, the importance and roles of women should be
propagated to the development of society. Secondly, education system should do more to improve the
knowledge of people about women, and to eliminate the prejudice of neglecting women and their value.
Thirdly, the government needs to have policies to prioritize women, so that they have better chances to
develop their ability, and better conditions contribute more to the society, and to compete equally with
men. Finally, more jobs should be made available. When people's lives are financially improved, women
will have more time and better conditions to develop themselves to be equal to men,
