Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, a Public Sector Degree Awarding
Chartered Institute, is looking for talented individuals to be appointed against the following fixed term (01 year, with further
possible extension) contract positions in the Project “Establishment of Sino-Pak Center for Artificial Intelligence” funded
by the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication through a Public Sector Development Project of the Federal
Government of Pakistan:
1. Managing Director (Fixed Salary Rs. 500,000/- per month)
Number of Positions: 01
Age Limit: 65 Years
Terminal Qualification: PhD (or equivalent) degree in Science/Engineering related discipline with specialization in
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Neural Networks/Human-Computer Interface/Augmented Reality/Virtual
Reality/Data Science/Software Engineering/Blockchain Technologies.
First Degree: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on the scale of 4.00 or 60 % marks (annual system) in the subject of Computer
Science/IT/Engineering.
Minimum Experience: 12 years post-PhD experience in relevant research/teaching organization or industry.
Publications: Minimum 15 publications in SCI impact factor journals related to the fields of computing/IT with 05
publications in the last 05 years.
2. Director Research Laboratories (Fixed Salary Rs. 350,000/- per month)
Number of Positions: 05
Age Limit: 50 Years
Terminal Qualification: PhD (or equivalent) degree in Science/Engineering related discipline with specialization in
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Neural Networks/Human-Computer Interface/Augmented Reality/Virtual
Reality/Data Science/Software Engineering/Blockchain Technologies.
First Degree: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on the scale of 4.00 or 60 % marks (annual system) in the subject of Computer
Science/IT/Engineering.
Minimum Experience: 09 years post-PhD experience in relevant research/teaching organization or industry.
Publications: Minimum 10 publications in SCI impact factor journals related to the fields of computing/IT with 05
publications in the last 05 years.
Preference: Experience in natural language processing, urban planning, smart city, AI in biomedical engineering and
health, smart agriculture, internet of things, deep learning, computer vision, intelligent field robotics, and intelligent system
design.
3. Senior Faculty (Fixed Salary Rs. 250,000/- per month)
Number of Positions: 03
Age Limit: 45 Years
Terminal Qualification: PhD (or equivalent) degree in Science/Engineering related discipline with specialization in
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Neural Networks/Human-Computer Interface/Augmented Reality/Virtual
Reality/Data Science/Software Engineering/Blockchain Technologies.
First Degree: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on the scale of 4.00 or 60 % marks (annual system) in the subject of Computer
Science/IT/Engineering.
Minimum Experience: 03 years post-PhD experience in relevant research/teaching organization or industry.
Publications: Minimum 05 publications in SCI impact factor journals related to the fields of computing/IT.
Preference: Experience in natural language processing, urban planning, smart city, AI in biomedical engineering and

4. Support Faculty (Fixed Salary Rs. 175,000/- per month)

Terminal Qualification: PhD (or equivalent) degree in Science/Engineering related discipline with specialization in
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Neural Networks/Human-Computer Interface/Augmented Reality/Virtual
Reality/Data Science/Software Engineering/Blockchain Technologies.
First Degree: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on the scale of 4.00 or 60 % marks (annual system) in the subject of Computer
Science/IT/Engineering.

5. Post Doc. Researcher/ Principal Engineer (Fixed Salary Rs. 175,000/- per month)
Number of Position: 10
Age Limit: 35 Years
Terminal Qualification: PhD (or equivalent) degree in Science/Engineering related discipline with specialization in
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Neural Networks/Human-Computer Interface/Augmented Reality/Virtual
Reality/Data Science/Software Engineering/Blockchain Technologies.
OR
MS/MPhil (or equivalent) degree in the relevant engineering fields with 05 years relevant post qualification experience in
recognized national/international institution(s) of high repute, and having membership of Pakistan Engineering Council.
First Degree: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on the scale of 4.00 or 60 % marks (annual system) in the subject of Computer
Science/IT/Engineering.
6. Business Development Manager (Fixed Salary Rs. 125,000/- per month)
Number of Position: 01
Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualifications: 16 years education with 1st Division in Business Administration/Engineering/Commerce/ Economics
from HEC recognized university.
Minimum Experience: Five (05) years of post-qualification relevant experience in Government/Semi-
Government/Private or any international organization.
Preference: Candidates having strong business development skills with engineering knowledge, communication, and
organizational skills with relevant professional training & certifications shall be given preference.
7. Senior Engineer (Fixed Salary Rs. 125,000/- per month)
Number of Position: 04
Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualification and Experience: 1st Division or 3.0/4.0 CGPA MS or equivalent degree in computer system, software
engineering or any relevant discipline with at least 03 years post qualification experience in Government/Semi-
Government organization or any organization of international repute.
OR
1st Division or 3.0/4.0 CGP bachelor’s degree (16 years) in computer system, software engineering or any relevant
discipline with 05 years post- graduation experience in Government/Semi-Government organizations or any organization
of international repute.
Membership: Must have active membership of Pakistan Engineering Council.
Preference: Preference will be given to those having working experience in high-performance computing, Linux

Commerce/Accounting/ICMA or equivalent Finance degree, with minimum 02 years of experience in Financial
Management/Accounting/Budgeting/Auditing in HEC recognized University/ Institution or any Government or Semi-
Government national organization or any organization of international repute.
10. Project Management Office Staff (Fixed Salary Rs. 60,000/- per month)

Qualification: 1st Division or 3.0/ 4.0 CGPA bachelor’s degree (16 years) from HEC recognized University/Institute and
a 06-month diploma in computer/IT with in-depth knowledge of MS Office.
Experience: Minimum 01-year relevant experience in Government or Semi-Government national organization or any
organization of international repute.
11. Secretarial Staff (Fixed Salary Rs. 40,000/- per month)
Number of Position: 03
Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualification: 1st Division bachelor’s degree (14 years) from HEC recognized University/Institute and a 06-month
diploma in computer/IT with in-depth knowledge of MS Office.
Experience: Minimum 1-year working experience as PA/Secretarial staff in any Government/Semi-Government
national organization or any organization of international repute.
12. Attendant (Fixed Salary Rs. 30,000/- per month)
Number of Position: 02
Age Limit: 30 Years
Qualification and Experience: 2nd Division Matriculation with minimum 02-year experience as Office Boy/Attendant in
any government or semi-government organization or any organization of international repute.
13. Janitorial Staff /Sweeper (Fixed Salary Rs. 30,000/- per month)
Number of Position: 04
Age Limit: 30 Years
Qualification and Experience: Elementary school certificate with 03-year experience as Cleaner/Janitorial Staff in any
government or semi-government organization or in any organization of international repute.
Following terms and conditions will be applicable in addition to the eligibility criteria: -
1. The selected candidate shall be governed by the Project policy/rules and regulations of the Institute.
2. Candidates serving in government or semi-government organization shall apply through proper channel.
3. A person who is dismissed from service or convicted through any court of law is not eligible to apply for any of
the above positions.
4. The fixed salary mentioned against each position shall be all inclusive. However, incumbents shall be entitled to
incremental raise @ 5% of the salary after the satisfactory completion of each year service in that cadre at the
Institute.
5. No medical facility or pension/gratuity/leave salary shall be admissible.
6. Only degrees/certificates obtained from HEC recognized universities/institutions shall be accepted.
7. Applicants with foreign qualifications shall provide equivalency certificate issued by HEC/IBCC.

9. The last date for receipt of applications along with attested copies of all the supporting documents in the
Institute is 14th March 2022.
10. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date shall not be accepted.
11. Only short-listed(s) will be called for interview through their emails provided at the time of application.
12. No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants during the entire selection process.
13. The Institute may proceed for legal action if any information/document provided is found fake/bogus.
