Title: The Two Friends and the Bear

One bright morning, two friends decided to go on an adventure in the forest. They promised
to stay by each other’s side and help one another in times of trouble. Laughing and chatting,
they strolled deeper into the woods.

Suddenly, they heard a rustling noise, and out of the bushes emerged a huge bear. Terrified,
the first friend, who knew how to climb trees, quickly scrambled up the nearest tree, leaving
the second friend alone on the ground.

The second friend didn’t know how to climb trees and was left with no choice but to think
quickly. He remembered hearing that bears don’t attack dead creatures. So, he lay flat on the
ground, held his breath, and stayed completely still.

The bear came closer, sniffed around him, and eventually walked away, thinking the boy was
dead. Once the bear was gone, the first friend climbed down from the tree.

He asked curiously, “What did the bear whisper in your ear?”

The second friend replied, “The bear said, ‘Never trust a friend who abandons you in
danger.’”

Moral: True friendship is proven in times of need.

Title: The Ant and the Dove

On a hot summer day, a weary and thirsty ant was walking along the bank of a river in search
of water. Finally, it stopped at the edge of the river to quench its thirst.

As it bent down to drink, a strong rush of water swept the tiny ant away. Helpless and
struggling, the ant feared it would drown.

A dove perched on a nearby tree noticed the ant's plight. Without wasting a moment, the dove
plucked a leaf from the tree and dropped it into the water near the ant. The ant climbed onto
the leaf and floated safely back to the riverbank. Grateful, the ant thanked the dove for its
kindness.
Later that day, the ant saw a bird catcher hiding under the same tree. The man was laying
lime-coated twigs to trap the dove. Realizing the danger, the ant wanted to repay the dove’s
kindness.

The ant crawled up to the bird catcher and stung his foot with all its might. The man cried out
in pain, dropping the twigs and creating a commotion. The noise alerted the dove, who flew
away to safety, far from the trap.

The dove, realizing what had happened, circled back and chirped a grateful thanks to the ant.

Moral: A kind act is never forgotten, and kindness begets kindness.
