Certificate Program

In collaboration with
Welcome
We would like to personally thank you for your interest in the Wharton and Wall Street Prep Financial Planning &
Analysis (FP&A) Certificate Program.
Financial Planning & Analysis is the 13th fastest-growing profession in the United States and is transforming the CFO’s
finance department from a number-crunching cost center to a forward-looking strategic hub focused on creating value
for the business.
There’s a huge drive to recruit and develop top FP&A talent across the entire corporate landscape, from private equity-
backed companies to Fortune 500 firms.
That’s why this program was created. It’s a unique collaboration between Wharton Online, a world-renowned business
school, and Wall Street Prep, the global leader in FP&A training.
Over the course of eight weeks, you will master everything you need to succeed in FP&A. Designed for current and
aspiring finance professionals, you will learn the technical skills - financial modeling, forecasting techniques and data
analysis, reporting, and financial storytelling. You’ll also learn the arguably more important interpersonal skills of
business partnering, challenging the status quo, and cross-functional relationship building.
If you’re missing foundational knowledge in accounting and finance, you’re given access to everything you need to
get ready. At the same time, the program covers far more than the basics. If you already have years - or decades - of
corporate finance experience, you can validate that you are following best practices and fill the known or unknown
gaps in your FP&A education.
Throughout the program, you’ll hear directly from Wharton professors, experienced FP&A leaders, and CFOs at a
variety of different companies. That combination of theory meets practice is incredibly compelling to employers,
particularly because the FP&A skill set is really a blend of so many important skills.
Lastly, you’ll have opportunities to meet and network with fellow students, recruiters, and industry leaders virtually
and in person. The program culminates in a closing ceremony and the receipt of a certificate from Wharton Online.
We hope you take this opportunity to read through our brochure and learn more about what the Wharton and Wall
Street FP&A Certificate Program can offer you. We hope you will join our upcoming cohort and the thousands of other
alumni who have participated and benefited in Wharton and Wall Street Prep programs.
