Job Purpose

● The People Partner (PP) role is pivotal in aligning the people agenda with the organisational
goals and focusing on enhancing employee experience, engagement, and development.
● As part of an agile Partnering Capability team, the PP works closely with individuals and
Leadership teams to identify and address people-related needs.
● By combining an understanding of the organisation's dynamics, HR expertise, and
data-driven insights, the PP drives impactful initiatives to support employee and business
success.
● This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive HR excellence and play a key role in shaping
the employee experience within a dynamic and agile organisational framework.

Roles and Responsibilities

A. Projects and Initiatives

1. Act as a proactive advisor, addressing requests from employees and leaders through tools
like AskHR and collaborating with Business Partners for strategic initiatives.
2. Drive the design and implementation of change management strategies for local and global
initiatives, adhering to agile frameworks like 90-day cycles.
3. Provide support during corporate transformations, such as restructuring, mergers,
acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring retention and compliance with global HR standards.
4. Foster collaboration and improve work relationships among teams, leaders, and employees
by providing professional HR guidance.
5. Act as a subject matter expert in specific HR domains such as DE&I, Labour Relations, or
Talent Management, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategies.
6. Manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling of
concerns.
7. Identify and analyze internal data trends and external market dynamics to provide HR
solutions that are informed and effective.

B. Focal Point Responsibilities (10%-40% of the role depending on business needs)

1. Establish trusted relationships with leaders and employees through regular interactions, and
understanding people and business challenges.
2. Collaborate with various HR teams to address business-specific needs, ensuring impactful
initiatives and seamless HR service delivery.
3. Act as a key liaison for labour relations and negotiations, where applicable, fostering a
collaborative and compliant workplace environment.

Required Skills

1. HR Ecosystem Expertise:
○ Comprehensive understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and
organisational dynamics.
○ Proficiency in Total Rewards, Talent Management, and related HR areas is
advantageous.
2. Consulting and Influencing:
○ Strong stakeholder management, empathy, persuasion, and active listening skills.
○ Ability to communicate effectively and solve complex organisational challenges.
3. Business Acumen:
○ Understanding of business drivers, financial implications, and organisational
structures.
○ Familiarity with the alignment of HR strategies to business success.
4. Agile and Data-Driven Mindset:
○ Adaptability to handle multiple projects and topics.
○ Proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making and digital tools to enhance
outcomes.

Required Qualifications

1. Education:
○ MBA in Human Resources or related field.
○ Fluency in English and the local language (spoken and written).
2. Experience:
○ Extensive experience across a range of HR functions demonstrating expertise in HR
practices.
○ Proven ability to lead and execute HR initiatives, preferably in a multinational or
matrixed organisation.
○ Hands-on experience in managing employee relations, labour law compliance, and
organisational change processes.

Required Work Experience

● Years of Experience: 15–20 years of progressive HR experience with a track record of


impactful contributions in HR business partnering, talent management, and change
leadership.
● Experience in agile environments and a global/multi-cluster setup is an advantage.
