Line Graph

The provided line graph illustrates the average amount of carbon dioxide released per
person in the four various nations from 1967 to 2007.

Overall, it is clear that while the figures for the United kingdom and Sweden decreased
significantly, the opposite was true for those in Italia and Portugal. In addition, the United
Kingdom consistently recorded the higest figure for carbon dioxide emissions during the
given period.

In particular, beginning at approximately 11 and 9 metric tonne, the United Kingdom and
Sweden respectively accounted for the majority of the carbon dioxide emissions in the
four different countries in 1967. After that the amount of carbon dioxide emitted in the
United Kingdom dropped gradually to around 9 metric tonne in 2007. However, the
figure for Sweden underwent an upward trend of almost 2 metric tonne from the
beginning to 1977 before it fell dramatically to approximately 5 metric tonne.

In contrast, at the beginning of the given frame, the amount of carbon dioxide released in
the atmosphere in Italia and Portugal was only around 4 and 1 metric tonne, in that order.
After that regarding the amount of carbon dioxide emissions in Italia, this figure
experienced a noticeable increase to almost 8 metric tonne in 2007. Besides, a similar
pattern was seen in the amount of carbon dioxide emitted in Portugal, stood at 5 metric
tonne at the end of the period.
