Reports to Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibility
Warehouse Management:
Manage the overall operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, space utilization, and layout
planning.
Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the receipt, storage, and tracking of inventory.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize accuracy, minimize loss, and maintain
adequate stock levels.
Order Fulfillment:
Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Monitor order status, track shipments, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Team Supervision:
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Delegate tasks and ensure that all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
Implement efficient processes and systems to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline
operations.
Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of quality and minimize errors.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and
operational metrics.
Analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse.
Conduct regular safety training sessions and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualification
A degree or course in operations and supply chain management added advantage.
Good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
