HbA1c analyzer Maintenance
1. Daily Maintenance
a. Check the liquid level of each bottle of reagent and waste
bottle, replace and empty the waste liquid if necessary.
b. Check the remaining number of chromatographic columns,
filters and replace them if necessary.
2. Weekly Maintenance
a. Cleaning sample rack and instrument surface.
b. Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.
c. Cleaning screen.
All of maintenance suggest to wipe with a soft, disposable towel
or fabric.
3. Monthly Maintenance
a. Clean the Diluting Pool once
Use a cotton swab with sodium hypochlorite to manually clean
the diluting pool
b. Sampling probe cleaning
Clean and maintain the sampling probe once a month.
H8: Open the right board and wipe the surface with a soft cloth
or sponge dipped with 5‰ sodium hypochlorite solution
H9: Take out the column and short cut the tube, put an EDTA
tube with 5‰ sodium hypochlorite solution into ST position, then do
the probe maintenance
Note: observe the status of the sampling probe, and replace it if
the sampling is inaccurate or obviously bent.
4. Quarterly Maintenance
H8: Replace the post-filter
Open the right door and perform the operation on the outer wall
of the probe washing. Check whether the liquid flow is smooth when
the waste liquid pump is pumping. If there is blockage, the post-filter
needs to be replaced.
H8 & H9: Replace pre-posed filter.
Open SV1 on the system maintenance interface, start the high-
pressure pump, and carefully listen to the operation noise of the
high-pressure pump. In case of abnormal noise, use a paper or
towel to wipe the front filter surface. It is suggested that the
maintenance cycle is half a year.
5. Annual Maintenance
H8: Swab Replacement
Open the right door, check the swab assembly if with a drop of
liquid attached with the downsides direction. It would prove that the
swab has been broken if with one drop of liquid or leaking,
necessary to replace new swab, supposed to change once a year.
H8 & H9: Replace HP Pump Diaphragm
Execute the high pressure pump cleaning instruction first. Check
the pipeline connected to A, B and C eluent, if there is no liquid in
the pipeline, it indicates that the diaphragm has been damaged and
needs to be replaced. It is suggested that the replacement cycle is
1 year.
